I see that Mids have been given £5k from the football partnership towards a stand so must be fairly well on in planning. D&G council are also looking at helping them with a new pavilion closer than their pitch too

I make that 17 wins in a row now dating back to going out the Scottish cup in September. What was EK record from a couple of years ago? Tranent are able to get to 59 points if they win all their games, so a minimum of 8 points from the last 6 games will secure the title. 3 of these are against Dunipace, Shippy and Eyemouth so looks highly likely conference B will be tied up soon. Out of the teams challenging at the top of the other conferences I think that I'd be most concerned about Broxburn as they are a stuffy side and I think Bonnyrigg have a poor recent record there.

Bonnyrigg have planning permission in for 4 floodlights, should know by mid march if successful. Hopefully this is enough for a derogation

What was the situation with vale of leithan in 2015? There was talk of them getting kicked out of the LL for not meeting criteria. Did they get a derogation?

Holm park getting an astro and floodlights isn't fundamentally changing the place. I think this was just phase 1 of a greater plan. I'm not convinced Clydebank are close to thinking they could be licensed.

Drove by Penicuik park this afternoon and it looks to now be fully enclosed with smart blue screening. I don't know if anything has been done with the toilets or wheelchair accessible shelter yet

Plans for portacabin toilets (similar to Bonnyrigg) next to the pie stall are awaiting approval by the council.

They've come a long way since leaving the senior's. At that point they thought that sfa membership was beyond them but 4 years later they look to be close to getting it. Added bonus of having the floodlights too which might soon be part of the criteria.

The only announcement at the time I remember was from Ian king (@kingyatthesun) who was coach at the time confirming they had their licence at Lochburn. Hillonearth who used to post o here for maryhill would confirm too but always seemed to indicate all was not right behind the scenes with BSC. Does anyone still have the leaked results of the junior pyramid survey? Did Maryhill believe they me licencing criteria?

It's a strange one as if Robbie horn didn't manage to make a go of it Berwick it's funny to go with someone who has achieved less at junior level. Harvey is clearly ambitious though!

It'll be interesting to see what the crowds are like for the later stages of this. I always thought a Bonnyrigg/linlithgow/ bo'ness junior cup final would have a much bigger crowd then the west teams get.

Plans for new Murrayfield Stadium for Edinburgh rugby. Mentioned elsewhere that Edinburgh city could be tenants. Very temporary looking but plus side is it has 2000 standing spaces

I drove by Ormiston on my way back from Tranent a few weeks ago. The pavilion looks completely finished and the pitch has a rail round it and dugouts. There was no perimeter fence or cover up but I don't think they currently need that for the EoS anyway. It's definitely looking like the most competitive conference at the top. Linlithgow, Bo'ness, LTHV and Bonnyrigg would be the teams to avoid so getting 3/4 in one group is tough as well as Dundonald. I think it will be a good league though and teams fighting to get in the top 4 or 5 will keep it interesting. Hopefully Bonnyrigg start well and can come out on top. Looking forward to Burntisland and Eyemouth for a day out and a good chippy! Playing Tynecastle at Meggetland and most games being within 30-40 minutes drive Season tickets reduced to £60 so works out at £5 per game.
