I mean, that's him on the steps of Ibrox, performing his famous "Whaurs the deeds?" speech.
Thought I was getting whooshed tbh.

In terms of Scottish football, it's a wild fall which is probably unlikely to be replicated barring a team getting into financial difficulty which renders them uncompetitive over numerous seasons.
The case of Paderborn in Germany in the past decade is the most extreme example of the antithesis of this thread:
13/14 - 2nd in 2.Bundesliga, promoted
14/15 - 18th in Bundesliga, relegated
15/16 - 18th in 2.Bundesliga, relegated
16/17 - 18th in 3.Liga - should have been relegated but saved on a technicality because 1860 Munich lost their license and were demoted
17/18 - 2nd in 3.Liga, promoted
18/19 - 2nd in 2.Bundesliga, promoted
19/20 - 18th in Bundesliga, relegatedSo not only a mad fall from grace between 13/14 and 16/17, but then back to back promotions to follow it (and then another relegation). They've finally calmed the f**k down and settled in the 2nd tier for the last 4 seasons.
The German side I keep an eye out for, Kaiserslautern, have had a similar rollercoaster. From top end 1. BL down to flailing around near the bottom of 3. BL, promotion last year, smashing it until the winter break, now unable to buy a win and likely to go back down again.
Just the small matter of a DFB Pokal Final this year though! (v Leverkusen)

You don't know who John Brown is?

Did Scotland not get humped v France by a disgraceful refereeing/VAR decision in rugbyball recently?
Rugby refs do get shown more respect than football refs, but that doesn't stop them appearing as even more insufferable c***s than ours.

When you say maybe Gretna too. What’s that scenario please ?
If Buckie win the play off.

Enjoyed that match.
Showed a side of football that we are all familiar with: total dominance yet coming away with nothing (and vice versa).

So, that's an interesting result for the top AND the bottom. A Dundee win still cements it, with a 35 goal advantage...a draw or a loss makes for an amusing week. On the bottom, Queen's Park get a lifeline thrown to them, lets see what they can do tomorrow. The huge sigh you heard was 5-7 breathing again.
What?

If ICT do finish 9th, playing with this intensity and having Samuels and Mackay up front will be far too much for Cove, Alloa or Montrose.
Accies tie would be interesting.

Similar standard then. Cheers.

Oh and "the league is dung this year" compared to the luminaries of yore such as Clyde and Peterhead.
Our amazing, record-demolishing season is devalued now

Just seen it, quite surprised at that to be fair. Although I've not really thought about who else could have got it.
I noticed Falkirk had 10 in the league one team of the year, only non Falkirk player was their striker from last year, Burrell who's at Cove. Be raging if you're that Falkirk striker that missed out!
Ross MacIver.
He's been absolutely tremendous at the sharp end of the front four. Should have had more goals and the fact that Burrell has 20 or so has edged him in. MacIver is a better player though.

Feel bad for not voting for CM7 after thinking I would all season, but have gone for the COLLOSSUS.

I've seen lots of people laughing at the obvious here, but the premise is also wrong. If Celtic did really kick off earlier on the final day, then that could only ever benefit Rangers, who would know exactly what result they needed.
True, but remember the demented psychology of an "OF" fan.
Everything, everywhere, every time, is done by the authorities to prevent their gallant warriors from triumphing.

All of which can be avoided by changing the nonsensical names we have for tiers 2 to 4, which many of us have longed for, nay, demanded over the years.

Whatever happened to Craig Patterson? I thought he was one of the more calm and measured Sportsound pundits. Too old I guess now? Gordon Smith was also pretty good before his ill advised spell at trying to be a football administrator.
Smith was and is hopeless. He is on Sevco TV nowadays.

Speaking of similarities, what is the story behind the “Thank You” many of the Dundee contributors add to their posts?
A French (IIRC) poster looking for scarves etc several years ago used to do it and they picked up on it.

Last thing the Highlands need is Apprentice Boys and Orangemen marching. Divisive, not even part of the historical tradition up here, get it punted.
I think you are being kind calling it divisive.
In that part of the world, of all places, it is a disgusting symbol of colonialism and brutality.
Unthinkable that they gave it the go ahead.
