Possibly, but we generally travel in decent numbers after a few positive results, especially if its close. Seen a few comments on socials that buses are full etc. Time will tell. I've got family shit in the evening thankfully. On the game, I can see us nicking it to win 4 league games on the bounce( in the same season) for the first time in 7 years.

I'd expect a bit more. It's been a long time since we visited in the league so 350-400 I'd say. Home game for me so looking forward to it.

Would be amazed if our Chairman/Strapps agent entertains a move to a direct rival in January, unless of course Dougie doesn't want to extend it with Waters coming back. He's been class the last couple of games so hopefully we secure him until the end of the season and he can hopefully move up a league next season, injury free. It wouldn't be ideal having two 1st team left backs in our small squad but if there's a chance of keeping Strapp beyond Jan, we should absolutely do it. -
I thought the same until I seen this, rule has changed to 7 days this season so we will miss Broadfoot, not a big loss though as O'connor can come back in. Oakley out for 2 games as we know. If Muirhead was booked, don't like the idea of Boyd up top. If he never got booked but gets booked on Sat, we go to Inverness without him and Oakley, not ideal. Let's hope he wasn't and he avoids a booking.

Ayr United Vs. Greenock Morton

All down to that rocket asking ridiculous questions. From the Ayr highlights, don't think Broadfoot "punches" the ball at all. His hand is up as he's jumping but he heads it away. As for Robbies "dive", the defender got away with one there. Tries to win the ball, doesn't, and leaves a leg in for Muirhead to go over. Seen many a pen given for that. To book him for diving was ridiculous, there's clear contact. -
Would rather O'connor take Broadfoots place when he is back.

Aye we deserve to be bottom, it's been a really poor start and the league table doesn't lie etc etc. However it's incredibly tight, with us only being 5 points off the playoffs with a game in hand so we know a few positive results against fifes finest this week will see us right back in the pack. Tough game, Raith are a different animal to last season and have quality throughout. We are still missing a couple of key players but the players should be buzzing after the late winner yesterday so we should go into this with confidence. I'd be happy with 4/6 this week 1-1.

Dougie's Morton v Dick's Arbroath

Baird starts as does Bearne Strong 11 and good to see Quitongo back on the bench. -

Nah i get that but i dont think Dougie is the kind of guy to stick a player on the bench to avoid embarrassment. If he is nowhere near, I don't think Dougie names him. Would have been interesting to see if he would have played had O'Connor or Broadfoot went off with an injury with 15/20 to go. His return can't come quick enough in any case. -

You're not sacking Dick after 4 league games surely? His job is to keep you in this league and he has done that the last 5 seasons. What is the expectation for Arbroath when trying to compete with full time teams with bigger budgets? You've not started well but surely the board only consider sacking him if he is marooned at the bottom of the league much further into the season if at all? Its very difficult for part time teams to survive in this league for a decent period of time as Alloa, Dumbarton, Cove, Brechin etc have all shown in recent years so Dick has done a great job in that respect. I'd be amazed if your board were even considering sacking him at the point of the season. -

Thats a gutter for Murdoch, I know us Morton fans gave him pelters after his challenge on Quitongo but to hear he has such a serious injury is heart-breaking for the boy. Hopefully he will recover and play again. -

Its about time we finally beat this lot surely? Playing well generally but giving away some silly goals, need to cut them out. Encouraging to see Baird on the bench yesterday, quicker he is back in the middle of our defence the better. Could he start? Power was very impressive again yesterday, delighted we have him. Boyd will come back into the starting 11 and Wilson will be in the squad too so we are in decent shape. No idea how long Quitongo is out, thought we missed him yesterday, hopefully not out for long. We have been expecting additional defensive options for weeks now so we live in hope that we bring at least a RB in before Sat. We are minted after the payday so we need to add some final pieces of quality. If we do, we can absolutely be in and around the top 4. 3-0 pumping. Oakley double, Boyd. -
You sobered up yet? Once fit, Wilson was a good player for us and one of the main reasons we stayed up that season. Not impressed by Power, there are no words for this one. You can literally see his class when he came on against Ayr. Where you there? Strapp versatile? He's a lb and lb only. Bin fire of an opinion that.

It's a strange one in the sense that MB must be happy to let him go out with presumably question marks over his fitness but DI is happy to bring him in, presumably assuming his fitness isn't an issue, I doubt we are signing him to sit on our treatment table as opposed to yours Time will tell I guess. He was very good for us last time around, ironically once he got match fit.

Sounds like Iain Wilson is coming back to Morton on loan. How come he isn't playing for you? Would have thought he'd be class in league 1.

Our bench looks much better than we thought it would be. Only Baird missing now. Glad he's went with a more balanced 3 behind Muirhead. Crawford, Boyd and Quitongo will cause problems. Glad Power is starting too. Raith front 6 looks dangerous. Should be a good game.
