You've missed out the fairly important part where the original vote went in Thistle's favour and when that wasn't the desired outcome it there were suddenly misunderstandings from certain boards and a second vote proposed. It was the second vote that we, quite rightly, tried to block. Same shit, different fannies in charge.

Was at the game with a Watford supporting mate, thought they were unlucky with the obvious first half chances before pretty much chucking two into their own net then being blown away in the second half. As a neutral found the whole atmosphere quite weird for a cup final though. Watford fans were great at waving their flags and I’m sure it looked good on tv, but at times you could actually hear the sound of thousands of shitey plastic flags being waved because there was no singing or noise going on along with it. Similarly, the Man City fans sat on their hands most of the time other than goals scored and even then they seemed subdued after the 3rd. Was verging on polite applause at the other goals. On the fans in their seat chat, I couldn’t believe how few people were back out for the start of the second half, and I don’t just mean in the hospitality level. The interview I saw with Wright doesn't mention anything about it not being a deal he wanted to do, only that the opportunity to get a replacement in allowed it to happen. So they were willing to do it if a replacement was available. If it's the case that the replacement is seen as a bench filler then it doesn't sit with any suggestion of not being willing to let him go or that his place in the squad was anything other than the same. If he's got a year on his contract then I guess we'll see how far this heavy heart sentiment extends in the summer. Personally I can't see him being assured as a regular at Saints again and he'll be off to somewhere with that on offer.

What is Anderson's contract situ at St Johnstone? Is he ever likely to be a regular starter again at that level? If there's an option for a permanent move, going into next season with him, O'Ware and McMillan as our central defence options, I'd be pretty content with that.

Our current arrangement is likely on a license type basis where we are granted use at specific times and probably pay an element of service charge proportionate to the use within our costs. Assuming we are taking the headline lease and it allows then there should be nothing stopping us putting similar deals in place to generate revenue. I'm sure whichever local authority it ends up in will want some community use from it. Celtic have/had a deal in place with East Dunbartonshire at Lennoxtown although I'm sure that was fairly limited and under scrutiny at one point towards it's value for public money.
