Hamilton have been pish against us, particularly yesterday, but they’ve had a good season. They are probably better than we were last season I would say and I think they’ve got a decent shot at coming up via the playoffs. I’m not saying that Rankin is a good manager or otherwise but they’ve done not bad. No shame in finishing a distant second to us this year.

The terminology can be debated but there’s very few clubs in Scotland who wouldn’t hold a team going unbeaten for an entire season, regardless of the circumstances, in very high esteem. They'll rightly go down in the history of the club.

Legend is relatively subjective but wouldn’t have Morrison in that category just yet (and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that). Stainrod was just before my time so Crunchie and Latapy are the only real “legends” as I would define it, that I’ve seen play. Players like McKenzie and Yogi would obviously be up there as well. Farid definitely not in the legend bracket for me. More cult hero.

It was another canter, I’m afraid. Delusional to think otherwise. Queens are actually not bad and if they do end up in the playoffs (I don’t actually think they will) should have enough to survive.

I thought it was very close on the first one - possibly just off. Need the draw the lines. Five minutes later Morrison was put through in almost identical circumstances and was flagged despite being a couple of yards on so the assistant evened it up anyway.

You can buy a ticket right up until kick-off though. If you want to attend you can. I had read before the game on the SAFC site that it was a police decision to stop sales at 1pm so no blame attached to either club but seems like overkill for a game where realistically there’s no danger of any bother. I’d say Dunfermline are positioned pretty well when you consider the injury list they’ve have in fairness. Every chance they’d be comfortably in the playoffs and ahead of Airdrie with a fully fit squad.
