  1. Apart from anything else, and I'm in agreement with the comments on the mess we've got ourselves in with Lesser, I'd get Celtic tae feck. Remember when they played at Hampden when Parkhead was being rebuilt. We were under big pressure by the SFA to allow it and the thanks we got was wee Magoo and his club being taken to court over unpaid bills. Plus, if their fans can't be trusted to behave, that's another reason to turn them down.
  2. The ICT school trip kids were giving it this to the point of tedium on Saturday but you can hear someone change their mind up at Inverness, so I wouldn't be too concerned at what other teams' fans think of us. There's always a decent vocal support at away games. And it's quality, not quantity, that counts.
  3. I spoke to him today and he said that any f@nny (eg Barry Ferguson, Frank Lampard) can get a gig, so why shouldn't he be the next f@nny.
  4. I have two ex-work colleagues who're right into crypto and study the form, or whatever you call it. Both have lost out badly and they're not daft punters. All I need to know. My cash will continue to be ploughed into premium bonds.
  5. Dreading this. Hopefully our players get their collective acts together. Time to step up. And to mark up, track back, shoot on sight etc etc
  6. My daughter is working with a guy who's on a three month trial and who is permanently on his phone claiming he's too busy to do what he's told to do. He won't last.
  7. Not so much work colleagues, but people doing work for you. Turn the feck up when you said you would. If you get held up, let the people paying you know. Thank you
  8. Men who accompany women shopping and stand about in a trance, getting in the road. Wait in the pub.
  9. Good point. I was thinking more about that walk across the pitch after Celtic had pumped United 9-0 or whatever it was at Tannadice.
  10. To be blunt, I think a manager without a job would jump at this. Of course, Jack Ross didn't, but how did that work out for him?
  11. Let's forget (a) Yogi, (b) anyone with an OF connection being punted by a pal in the press, (c) Yogi and (d) Yogi.
  12. Our best days are about 130 years behind us and Scottish club sides are a joke in Europe. What Scottish managers currently looking for a job would you be keen on?
  13. I really don't see us taking a punt on anyone without a bit of experience in Scottish football. And, no, not Yogi. We made bold appointments with Laurie Ellis and Robin Veldman (to our credit I would say) and they didn't end well. To be honest, I would have been happy if we'd retained Veldman and appointed an auld Scottish heid like Dick to help him. The squad is so young and inexperienced, we need someone who can identify a seasoned pro who can kick the erses of the guys we have and pull them together.
  14. The sacking might mask discussion of the mistakes all too apparent on the park. We're not marking up and the opposition midfield stream through without being tracked. Whilst the manager carries the can for the results, and has done here, the players should be looking at their own performances. It's basic stuff; marking up and tracking back is in the hands of the players. We're in big trouble if the new guy can't give them a boot up the erse and get them to step up their game.
  15. I was and have the secret of putting purchases on a belt in the right order. It was only a basket which makes the offence worse.
  16. At the checkout and the assistant scans all the breakable/ fragile stuff before dealing with the cans and totties, so you have to wait to fill your bag.
  17. I think both Roxburgh and Brown played for QP. Their experience of short corners at the club would explain why they preferred the ball being banged over
  18. Queen's Park are the absolute masters at making an erse of these and have been as long as I can remember.
  19. 1) Was this not him taking part of his coaching badge, which he is going through? That was the reason for his previous trip there. 2) "everyone" and "slightest bit of criticism " - do you have access to his social media accounts to monitor this? Anyway, is it part of his job to accept anonymous stick from people? Quite frankly, if you don't have the bottle to talk to him face to face, but have a go under some alias, you can hardly complain. 3) would you have kept Tizzard on after his third /fourth howler in that game, the last of which resulted in a goal? If he had run off the park straight to the bench, there wouldn't have been anything like the stooshie. It was, I fully accept, embarrassing for the lad. 4) I don't agree that he doesn't take responsibility in interviews. I think he's quite honest and generally refers to "we". Putting your comment on him not being a nice guy into context, Putin is not a nice guy. Veldman is struggling to sort things out, that's true, but how many of our goals lost are down to player errors? A very high percentage, I'd say. It remains to be seen if he can turn things around but remember that he's working with the players presented to him and he's having them adapt to a completely new way of playing. It's in everyone's interest that the current gash run of form comes to an end.
  20. Watching Cantona in a series called "Inhuman Resources", a French update on the Yosser Hughes character in Boys from the Black Stuff. He's absolutely superb.
  21. Anything being forced on us from the US could never be deemed as petty, but this Black Friday pish is getting to me. I'm desperate to buy something. Anything. They b*****ds have trapped me and I'm being pulled in.
  22. I keep thinking we're just about to burst into action and give someone an absolute doing. Still waiting. But ever hopeful. Saturday it is! Away win.
