  1. Good for Thistle; not as good as someone stealing his towel earlier in the season but good none the less. How much time is wasted with this guy having to trot up for every shy, drying the ball, and prancing up and down the line until he's ready? Anything that cuts a bit of the time wasting out is fine.
  2. Pretty much the same letter sent to an editor every week of the season. He is a wee diving shite.
  3. A point against second and third in successive weeks would normally be good, but other teams round us are winning and we are in danger of being the half decent team that'll end up in the playoffs. We didn't click up front but thankfully we can now defend. Wilson is terrific. Longbridge had another good game.
  4. Off at a tangent, but I think it was Arteta who walked off the field on Saturday talking to one of his players with his hand over his mouth. WTF can these people be saying after a match that could be of any interest to lip readers?
  5. It'll have been said before but menus that exclude £ signs and the pence. E.g 5 5.5 etc
  6. He must have been in the pub for all of the second half.
  7. You're assuming I have a clue how to do that. Or even what a cache is. I can barely make a call on my phone.
  8. Ok, I'll indulge you. Who is scheming to keep Thistle out of the top league via refereeing decisions and why?
  9. I'm convinced that QP (ten Scottish Cups) would have headed to the LL, having been kicked out of Hampden and still amateurs , which is why I voted to take Willie Haughey's offer of financial support. Looking to the potential afterlife, I couldn't see us being better in the LL than some of the well run and well supported teams circling like vultures. A proud past means hee haw.
  10. When I clicked on that, the first thing that popped up was an advert with photos of young girls in bikinis. Thankfully I wasn't on the bus when I did. #yaauldperv
  11. Not old enough. Anyway, I'm not in any hurry to see my team being pumped by the Old Firm on a regular basis. Our time will come!
  12. Not at all; we were clearly not ready to go up. How did the play offs go for you? Your thinking that there is an agenda against Thistle is more than a wee bit over-dramatic.
  13. Aye, a strong Thistle would create mayhem in the upper echelons of Scottish football.
  14. Surely a certainty, injury permitting, that he's offered an extension. Guys like him are difficult to find.
  15. I'll go for that. We keep clocking up points but seem to be getting nowhere.
  16. Non-English guys going Tonto in the pub when an English team score a goal on the telly.
  17. No one on all these mind-altering drugs can possibly have a job!
  18. I would love to see two up front here for QP and really pressure the Thistle defence. I think we're more solid at the back and can maybe gamble a wee bit but it might come down to whether we can stop Graham. 2-1 to Glasgow's top outfit in hoops (that's QP, of course).
  19. The demise of the mentalness of the Darvel thread has thrust you lads into pole position in the race to be the most entertaining thread on P & B. Compelling viewing.
  20. You can see the sharp contrast in us, with Wilson and Welsh making a marked difference. I was surprised to see the BBC stats on possession {53% for Airdrie} as they looked to have more than that. However, we did look a bit more clinical, which is another welcomed change. Thomas was, once again, a joy to watch and I saw a hint of McKinstrey's quality. Results elsewhere, once again, show that it's up to us to win games to get out of this relegation dogfight rather than rely on anyone else. Airdrie looked half decent and I'd expect them to be safe.
  21. Massively important game. They did indeed derail the promotion push last year (aided by ourselves!). Hopefully, we are back to firing on as many cylinders as possible, if we can't manage them all. Change the team from Saturday? Not sure if we should although I'd like to see a bit more support for Paton, who is putting in shift after shift up front.
  22. I like a hard copy match programme. Online sales only - £3.00 plus £2:40 postage. What a snip.
