  1. Not pretty and Arbroath were definitely better, but it's three points for your favourites and a lovely look at the top of the table. Fox was outstanding and big McKenna was certainly entertaining.
  2. Bala away for the QP. Deepest, darkest Wales. Spunkadelic. Read it and weep, kids.
  3. It would. But that was before social media named and shamed!
  4. Brighton have just pocketed £116m. They could give us £16m and still have £100m to play with. And we'd still have Ferrie. Delicious. I'm in! Anyway, Saturday. I see us getting better every game and would like to think we can convert a few more chances this week. I can't see the Lichtie defence being that good again. 3-1 to the QP.
  5. A penalty save by the Albert keeper and Thistle hit the post but no more goals so every credit to the Albert. Some decent handbags too. Terrific value for a fiver.
  6. Royal Albert 0 Lugar Boswell Thistle 4 at half time, Albert down to ten men at 0-2. Could have been more at The Stadio Del Alberto. A long second half for the home team.
  7. Previously, members and the free ticket mob were in the comfy seats; season ticket holders were in the "side" stand.
  8. If it hadn't been for a concert and the upcoming Scotland games, I think we'd have been in Hampden for the start of the season. The arrangement will be at the insistence of the SFA. On your suggestion re a Clyde move, I'd rather we bulldozed the place.
  9. It's been a constant unfortunately so far. Too many dead balls end up in the hands of the keeper. It's something that can be addressed. Still, happy enough with the performance. On another day, we would have converted a couple more from all the crosses that flashed across the front of the goal.
  10. If you can't cope with full time teams beating you, ask Dick to get you relegated and then you can complete with like teams. Or.....you can do as you did two years ago and be better than the full time teams. No one's gloating; the comments reflect how the game was.
  11. 3 points. That's what it's all about. 64% possession. Your team defended very well and deserve credit for that. United relied on a 95th minute equaliser at home; guess who's happier?
  12. Rein yersel in, ya fuckwit. Bring your own sweeties to the next game. Your mum should have sorted that out. As to the game, we had so many balls whacked across the front of the goal but couldn't get on the end of them, which was a wee bit concerning. I thought Arbroath's defending was outstanding.
  13. That split second of absolute silence just as he hit the ball towards goal ......
  14. You lads will be waving the white hankies when the QP goals tumble in. If ever a post might come back to haunt me, this is it.
  15. I don't think anyone saw Longbridge being so effective at right back. He has certainly been a revelation. Still, we now have terrific cover.
  16. No. The ruling is, I think, that we can't allow anyone with a UK ip to view the stream, so the club have taken the view that the overseas market ain't that worth it at the moment. How some clubs who stream get round the ruling, I couldn't comment.
  17. It is open; 12-30 until kick off and then after the game until 7pm. The usual lagers; no admission charge. Away turnstile is indeed at the Somerville Drive end, but it's only two minutes from the bar.
  18. Fairly sure you can sit where you want, but it is likely to be in the South West (as before) rather than in the middle.
  19. Every club should have a wee look at this. Sadly, too many clubs talk the talk about what makes the day better for fans, but just do their own thing anyway.
  20. Ah, that makes it ok then. The irony is that more people cycling is the way to go. They should have put wooden boards down and gone over the top of them. Edited to add: I would have supported the attention seekers 100% if they'd glued themselves to the road in front of the Orange Walk in Glasgow.
