  1. I think Whites involvement has always been to assist Bullen with transitioning players from the Academy to first team. A lot will be stepping up training and he's there to help with that.
  2. Aye him and Bullen had an apparent bust up after the Dundee United game.
  3. The biggest issue in the squad (in a long list of things) is that we have no leaders. Under McCall, you gad your Geggans/Bells/Adams/Dochertys etc who would drag players through games, we don't have that now and that is why we fold like a deck chair a lot. No one there that will just drag the rest of the team by the scruff of the neck and get through tough games.
  4. Should have been a priority no matter what anyway, who knows when we’ll get someone in, just read VOR report there and he seems to be playing the “player trading” card.
  5. The beginning of the departures looks to be starting anyway, one out the door (tomorrow probably) no that he really plays.
  6. We were talking about that today, how can we even plan for next year when we know he’s not staying. If he was he would have signed an extension by now, makes the current situation even more mental that he’s not even under threat.
  7. Could go on a double page rant about what’s going wrong/who to blame, but to be honest, I’ve just lost complete interest now. Mathie living in his own wee world shouting about getting premiership ready etc, Bullen not having a clue about what to do week after week with the duds we’ve got from Mathie and Glendinning and Smith wondering what’s happening with all the money being chucked at Mathies vanity project. Saturday will be a 3rd home game in a row I won’t bother with even though I’ve got a season ticket. It’s just depressing knowing another defeat will be on the cards and that fraud of a manager won’t even be under threat of the sack.
  8. What’s the script with away fans, is it the WDE? If so then f**k that will get a stream at home.
  9. I think what is clear now is, unless we are seriously cut adrift, we are going to ride the season out with Bullen leaving at the end of the season and someone new coming in then.
  10. Think we are a stick on to win. For the only reason being that the only 2 home games in the league i've missed have been our only 2 wins and I can't make Saturday.
  11. Thought Senga was immense at centre half, could be the answer going forward if he was to put a consistent run of form in there. His clearance for a corner stopped an almost certain goal for Hamilton.
  12. Liam Smith is at Cheltenham and would reckon Strapp either stays at Morton or goes up a league, we're not signing another left back anyway. We'll get a centre half and maybe a striker if one of Rose/Bryden was to leave.
  13. Would be funny if they did sign him for a fee then not able to play until next season.
  14. A lot of people just base Ayr as shite due to the piss poor town centre. However in reality 99% of town centres are crap and in all honesty, no one shops in shops anymore, this isn't an Ayr only problem. Ayr and Ayrshire is great for golfers with so many good locations, places like Culzean, Burns Cottage/Centre/half decent racecourse/farm park which to us nobody cares about, but folk do come for it as where these folk come from don't have that sort of attraction. Christ, even Drongan has an alpaca farm
  15. Perfect facial expression from Bullen about watching Ayr United.
  16. I know they go into accommodation to begin with and then they are given time to find their own place. O'Connor and Albinson stayed in the student accommodation at the old Craigie stables. Only reason I know this is because at my old work we had a student down working from Aberdeen who stayed in the room next to Albinson.
  17. To play devils advocate, options is probably the difference here. No one else up here knows them/scouting them where as a Dom Thomas for example, is well known and will have attractive offers from our rivals, so something like travel distance can come into it.
  18. The problem we have is our recruitment, so at the moment, this is our ceiling IMO. They go on about a journey and a 5 year plan for the Premiership etc, but project signings from the deepest darkest leagues of England aren't going to do that. For every Dipo, there is a JML/Gondoh/Pendlebury/Rose and so on. I bang on about them, but Raith are the example now of what ambitious clubs should be doing. Manager with a style of play that is attractive and a mix of good young and experienced pros on longer contracts to keep them on that trajectory. If they fail to get promotion this season, you wouldn't expect them to change much in personnel terms next year, maybe 1 or 2 in and 1 or 2 out and keep the core of an exciting squad. We're going to be open heart surgery again.
  19. Morton now getting their act together, Inverness moving up the league after binning a failing manager, Arbroath new manager in so need to see how they do and QP binned their failing manager so can't see them getting any worse. Then there is us.
  20. Same haha, was away for the Inverness game. We have only won 3 league home matches this calendar year out of 13 games, 14 if you include the play off semi final home match. Really is pathetic. Mathie really needs to realise the only "journey" we are on is towards League One.
  21. I think more than anything, the attendance on Saturday is going to be an eye opener for Mathie and the board. Sub 1400 I reckon. I have a ST and not even bothering, be lucky to give my ticket away. I have not enjoyed a single home game this season and just lost all interest really, missing the Dunfermline game anyway through something else, so my next game would be ICT on the 6th, so unless things have improved/changed, we'll see if I have gathered interest again.
  22. Looking likely Peterhead will be my last game of 2023. Can’t make Dunfermline game and just not interested in going next week. Will struggle to give away my ST for the games.
  23. I said pre season/early in the season we should have been where Raith are in terms of both. Good recruitment and what seems to be a new board who have a vested interest in their supporters and match day experiences. Even just look at their engagement on Social Media with their content. We've blundered so much that Mathie has had to come out and apologise/explain on a couple of mental decisions.
