Home strip being badged and printed and hopefully in shop 10-14 days ( pre orders info coming soon)

Away kit looking like end July instore but will see it soon ( this one should keep the fans happy)

3rd Kit October but will see it in near future

Cheers. Bought a ST for first time on the new system, just collect the card and voucher in the shop?

  2. So we're now looking at a squad so far of:

    Keepers: McAdams, Albinson

    Defenders: Houston, McGinty, Reading, Ecrepont

Midfielders: O'Connor, Dempsey, Murdoch, Smith, Hewitt

    Forwards: Ashford, McKenzie, Bryden

    Youth: Jeannes, Bilham

So we;re probably 3 defenders short just now (2 cbs and a rb/cb), attacking midfielder (McInroy), at least 1 more winger and 1 or 2 forwards (Would include Tommi)

I think a lot of the signings this season will be along the similar lines as Dempsey and Kenyon, an initial who? Then a Google to see their background. Takes the excitement out of new signings a bit because there isn’t the immediate knowledge that you have signed a player you know is capable of doing a job.

The ones we've signed over the past years have been the opposite tbf.

A very congratulatory interview with Smith in the Record/post today.
I’m not sure how I feel about it. Smith has spent a great deal of cash to make improvements, off the park in particular and deserved all the credit he gets. His decision to remove himself from the day to day running of the club has seen some practical benefits also. It can’t have been easy, It must have been a frustrating period where he realised he was failing and receiving heavy criticism. Credit to him for making the change quickly, I am not sure if we would have made the short term improvements we made had Mathie not come in.

The interview doesn’t really have any substance though, no talk of future plans or ideas in the pipeline or anything new, all a bit fellatory.

With it being close season, Voice would want something to fill the back pages for now.  It's good to see him acknowledging where he has went wrong and how he has tried to rectify it.

McGinty and Baird are both dung. If we had to sign one I'd rather it was Baird based on both their time at Morton but that's no ringing endorsement.

Bairds first season was bad and continued bad when both he and McGinty were a partnership.  Bullen came in and went with Muirhead and McGinty and our goals conceded in first 18 games to second 18 halved.  McGinty looked a lot more capable beside Muirhead, Baird always seemed to be chasing his man back, very much like Fjortoft.  We were always looking to upgrade CB and with McGinty having triggered a contract extension, Baird was always going to be offered redcued game time/terms.

  6. So this is the state of play so far:

    Currently signed:

    Goalkeepers: McAdams, Albinson

Defenders: Houston, McGinty, Ecrepont*, Bilham*, Jeannes*

    Midfeilders: McAllister, Smith, Hewitt

    Forwards: McKenzie, Ashford, Bryden

    Waiting to hear from:

Reading, Murdoch, Dempsey, Moffat**, Baird, O'Connor, Muirhead, Adelyoe, McInroy

    *Reserve/youth players

    **Coaching role/reserve player

I wouldn't be surprised to still see McAllister leave unless he was to have a good season, and still think we will bring in a right back if Hosuton is out for 8 weeks.

No, we’ve had Bannigan and Docherty centre midfield, Tiffoney left wing and one of Turner, Smith or Crawford on the right pretty much all season.

f**k, he's playing him on the right?  At least when we had him on the left he could cut in on his right foot.  McCalls a slut for a centre mid out wide.  Usually had McDaid (in the tiffoney attacking role) and Crawford for us, sometimes Geggan right mid with McDaid on the left.
