Caught most of the game on Falkirk TV. Great performance. Still find it strange to use all 5 subs at once with a fair bit of time left but Alloa never looked in the game at all.
Do we change it up for TNS?
No

How did Brad McKay do?

Is it 12-1 aggregate luck we’ve had against Alloa so far this season?
Thats right yeah. Probably get scudded in our last game against them this season if they turn up for once!

We have been incredibly fortunate this season that all of the scuddings we've dished out have been as a result of teams being absolutely terrible and awful and stuff. Even the ones who were playing really well until our lucky tram showed up
Funny how we weren’t able to do that in previous seasons, only really getting this ‘scudding luck’ this season. It’s a funny old game!

In all honesty I want to win to see how much panic sets in. Three dodgy results in a row would be interesting.

Is the boy Dylan Tait any good
Terrible attitude!

If only Hamilton were able to bring on Dylan Tait, that might have got you the win today. Unlucky x

Be difficult getting a player in this window for centre half cover. Unlikely to start and it’s not a position you usually bring a sub on for.
Reckon we landed on our feet with Shanley from that point of view as he’ll be happy to come in as cover and try and work his way in, considering his situation at his previous club.
That said if we can find good cover at centre half I’d be all for it.
Suspect we won’t get a keeper in either. I’ve loved McGlynns recruitment this year but he’s signed 4 keepers since he joined, which haven’t been as successful as his outfield recruits.

I’d be in the huff if John Rankin was my manager too. Sure he will want to prove a point and McGlynn will know how to get the best out of him.

Have calmed a bit down since full time but that’s still an embarrassing result. Hoping it doesn’t kick into league form.

I know we have the fear about multiple changes after last weekend, so are wary of putting Hendo back and having someone else in midfield, but I’ve still got the fear about Mackie at centre half in that game we lost at EEP last season.

Welcome aboard Brad , Falkirk fans seem glad to get rid so maybe a wee point to prove and a wee change of scene might just do the trick , we defo needed a CH and one with his experience is a bonus
No hard feelings to the lad but wasn’t good enough for us, not his fault Gary Holt signed him on a 3 year deal! Did wonder where he would end up next. Hopefully has some man of the match clean sheet performances against our promotion rivals.

Wonder how much of his wages Kelty are covering for the rest of the season, and if we’ll be looking to replace him?

On Ola. Reckon he was in the picture until we got Ethan Ross on loan, something we couldn’t have forecasted back in May.

He won’t make that mistake again. Unbeaten run continues, let’s move on and never speak about this game again.

Come off it, this is surely just front. We’re in the third tier for goodness sake, a pretty weak one at that. It’s enjoyable but carried away, time to set your bar a bit higher imo.
Can only beat who’s in front of you. Time to enjoy ourselves after a miserable 5 years give or take.

Sobering thought for anybody getting carried away.
IF we had lost at Hamilton instead of winning we would now have 49 points, Accies would have 44 points and would have a game in hand. And we still have to play each other twice.
Fine margins.
If yer Auntie had baws…

Oh come on really your best performance of the season? We played so deep it was criminal. One totally isolated up front when having a go and getting gubbed would have been way better for us travellers as we got gubbed anyway…. you are good no getting away from that and the fast paced play is very eye catching and will see you challenging in the Championship.
I also like your ground and the facilities etc and you will win the league but come on, the greaseball gifted you the 3 points.
So the way we play will see us challenging in the Championship, but the reason we won 4-0 tonight wasn’t because of that, your manager allowed us to do it?
Nae worries fella.

Heard Falkirk were looking at former Edinburgh City star Ben Stirling excellent signing if it happens.
Don’t know if we’ve any room for any more Edinburgh City stars. But hope he does well.
Ignore what any Falkirk fans say about Hetherington, he’ll be a steady replacement for Martin.

Is there any other club on this forum that would be unbeaten in the league, as we’re in the January transfer window, and we have 2 pages worth of discussion regarding bins in the stadium?
The answer is of course, no. I love this club.

Heard Rankin is looking at Steven Hetherington of Alloa to replace the hole in midfield left by Scott Martin.

Forum was quite informative last night. Three new players done and dusted for January and a good few looking to be loaned out/moved on. Some very interesting comments about Falkirk.
No way they’d sign 3 players and bin Rankin IMO.
Wonder which player, they’re all so important at the moment. Just as well we’ve got a deep squad to deal with it.

Maybe I’m naive but I didn’t think Morrison would leave this window for a second. Think McGinn has alluded to this being one of the best changing rooms he has been in, why would you want to leave now? Still have plenty offers in the summer no doubt.
Perhaps unpopular opinion on this as well but interested in others thoughts. I’d be looking to extend McCann and Yeats contracts too but maybe only a year extension, is that harsh? We’ve let people go out of contract before I guess so maybe what does it matter? The evidence hasn’t been there this season but have a nagging feeling IF (not when, IF) we were to go up, I’d want to upgrade both full backs, or at least have better competition for them both. Not a particularly big fan of Mackie and Bisland will go back to Dundee United.
Delighted Col and Hendo on a 2 year deal though, more than capable at that level and extremely important players for us.
