  1. And another thing, I don't blame Yogi for asking for more money. We were a bawhair away. I also don't blame the board for giving him more money either, it could have been achievable and an extra windfall from an old firm game would help finances. However, I blame Yogi entirely for the 4 duds he brought in(Bullen, McNamara, McCann and O'Brien) on wages far too high for their ability at the time. Bullen has majorly decreased his salary since arriving at the football club, and the other 3 were money-grabbing c***s.
  2. When we had Stokes, Gow, Latapy, the football we played was great. Without those 3, it was tippy-tappy side pass rubbish.
  3. Nobody is getting carried away. Nobody expects anything from this team. We are essentially an under 19's team with 5 or 6 older players(and these older players range from 21-25, with the exception of Dods). The fact we're playing decent football, and players are giving it their all, thats all I ask. It's not their fault they have to do a mans task out there and regardless of where they finish, I will be proud of them.
  4. The fact the team, the management, and the whole club seem to be uniting in one front is the major change from last year. The football has been a lot better and fans will always back players who give 110%. Can't say any player in that current team doesn't give that, whereas last season you'd question how many did.
  5. Yeah credit to the club, despite the obvious financial problems, I have a real feel-good factor going to the games now.
  6. It was clear for all to see how much that midfield needed Millar. He needs to stay in the central midfield role. Perhaps if our squad had depth you could move him in there, but our midfield would miss out greatly.
  7. I think thats a great shout. Don't think Jay Fulton is naturally right sided so this could help balance it out a bit.
  8. Agree. Sibbald's a fantastic talent but nowhere near ready. Wasn't impressed with Jay Fulton out wide, but not sure whether that is his preferred position. Could play Higginbotham out wide but think he prefers a central role, and where he's looked more likely to do something.
  9. Would be happy with that, to be honest would be happy with anybody!
  10. First post and its to tell us this.. hmm. Can I ask who the official in question is?
  11. There's no reason for the club to go into administration, as its not a case of owed money to creditors, its owed to directors within the club, who aren't going to put the club into administration.
  12. You would think that, but no. Ps we will never actually get 290k for Stewart, its just an asking price.
  13. They are paying 100% of the wages. The deal only broke down as Bradford did not want to pay a fee for Compton.
  14. Stupid question, but is there a Kircaldy train station?
  15. Daily Ranger says we're about to sign Neil McFarlane.
  16. I'll be there. Hopefully our new frenchy striker will play.
  17. In hindsight yes. But he's here now so nothing else to do but back him, he's going nowhere this season.
  18. Allan Moore who has had far many more years in management and started at an easier level of management. Come back to me when Pressley's been in management for as long as Moore has. 7th is mid-table now is it? Utter failure until the penultimate weekend? Nothing like twisting the truth. All Scottish clubs are skint. Granted not are all in the financial restraints we are in just now, but no longer can most Scottish clubs go out and pay big transfer fees for players. This should be the model used for most football clubs in Scotland, where the players do not cost anything to come in and if they develop well, make a few bob for the club. 7 goals in 12 games, thats a goal ratio of just more than 1 goal every 2 games. A fantastic ratio, which I doubt any of your strikers reached last season. Andy Jackson? As somebody pointed out earlier, not very prolific for the exception of one season. Name the last time he played a full season. He wasn't even used last season when St Johnstone couldn't score in a brothel. To prove to that Jackson joined because of Morton owning the training ground and stadium, as you have said.
