I'd like justice to be done and seen to be done as yousuggest. I hope we could see almost every aspect of our game torn upand started over, from the way our kids learn their football through to thestructure of the professional league championship. I know I won't though, nothing of any substance will change andinside 5 years you won't be able to see the join between rangers 1872 andrangers 2012. Never mind the damage this will do to rangers, judging bythe responses on here, other message boards I haunt and people I talk to in theoutside world this could do our game serious, serious harm when the carve uphappens.

The Department of Health have today issued health warnings across Scotland because of severe diarrhoea as a result of Jelly & Ice Cream overdose, popcorn induced blockages in the colon, Kia Ora provoked acid reflux, muscle damage brought about by prolonged hysterical laughter & thigh slapping and RSI caused by overindulging in high fiving. Fainting and dizzy spells are now adding to the list of ailments as a result of waiting with baited breath for any kind of news from the slow-as-shit administration process. A spokesman for the DoH said, “Still, it’s worth it, eh?”

The OF have painted themselves into a corner; the unprecedented attendances over the last 15 seasons have been bought by spending money that neither club could afford. Celtic may well be running a tight-ish ship these days but don’t forget in the early 2000s they racked up losses of about £45M over half a dozen seasons. Now that they have stopped spending lots of money and signing marquee players they have already lost something like 10,000 off their average gate. There may be a surge initially as they romp the league combined with the demise or down-sizing of rangers but if they continue to sign players of adequate quality rather than high profile, big money players I wouldn’t be surprised to see another 10,000 disappear from their average. The same applies to rangers; regardless of what happens with the big tax case, even if they come out of their administration in one piece they are going to have to live within their means and that means low spending and fairly average players compared to what’s been there in the past. That’s going to translate as lower crowds sooner rather than later as well. How good that is really depends on how much of a kicking The Rest can dole out while these two are on the ground…

Aye but we've had this discussion before HJ, almost every other country in the footballing world wants a head-to-head title decider except this backwater thanks to these two dinosaurs; an Edinburgh derby would be fine, a Dundee derby would go off without a hitch and last season we saw a Fife derby that virtually decided the title without Plod having to issue any misgivings. The fact that our football authorities pull out all the stops to avoid a Glasgow title decider is a horrible indictment on 21st century Scotland...or at least bits of Scotland

No, you're wrong. There is a much used term 'two cheeks of the same arse' that pretty well demonstrates we see them as a single entity and dislike both equally. You are falling into the 'who's yer big team' meantality which is a myth perpetrated by the OF fans who simply don't understand that fans can support teams that don't hoover up trophies year after year.
