I don't know if you've read the book , but , it's very reminiscent of The Looming Tower : Al-Qaeda's Road To 9/11 by Lawrence Wright. Saw they interviewed Ali Soufan , who is one of the main characters in the TV series of The Looming Tower. Very good documentary all round.

I suspect this one may divide opinion. I love orange accents on watches and was looking for something a wee bit different.

Daniel Craig comes close to book Bond's attitude in his first film. Bit of a c*nt and pretty much a cold blooded killer. -

The Two Escobar's from BT Sport is really good. My personal favourite is The Battered b*****ds Of Baseball. Kurt Russell's dad takes over a second tier team in Portland and has open trials for the team , the characters that turn up are great.- 31 replies

Perfect fit, that's a really good case size for your wrist, I'm personally not a massive fan of chrono dials but that's not too cluttered so looks good. I think the strap is one of the fitted ones , turns straight down after the lugs.

Vince Gilligan also has a cameo in Community as a VCR video game actor in season 5. -
Had an eye on this last year , when it was down to £250 , got it today from H.Samuel in the sale for £120.

Always recommend Ken Burns Civil War and Vietnam war docs , although this other stuff is very good too. I loved The Battered b*****ds Of Baseball , about Kurt Russell's dad taking over a minor league baseball team and held open trials for it...think Major League but true , really good I thought. The Two Escobar's is also good and an older one Hearts and Minds about the Vietnam war.

Driving down Broomhill and pulled over to take this picture , haven't edited it and the sky looks like it has been. -
Found it a bit of a task because it was ( obviously) written in the dialect of the day.

The Crusades : The War For The Holy Land by Thomas Asbridge. Caught my eye after watching Knightfall on Netflix and wanted to understand a bit more about the subject. A relatively easy read , a well told story starting with the first crusade and how it started a Latin Near East Kingdom that lasts for 200 years called Outremer . A lot of recognisable names throughout the book , Saladin , Richard the Lionheart , King Louis IX and a host of Popes.

Hamilton PSR digital , I think is nice , not £650 nice , but , nice. ETA: I like the G-Shock squares very much , especially the stealth ones , which I have two of.

I did , but , I've feck all else to spend my money on at the moment. I am about to get rid of some of my dafter buys thru eBay and maybe Gumtree. Got some fashion watches to shift

Steeldive Captain Willard. Went for waffle strap as bracelet gets a bad write up. Very decent watch for the money and got it from their UK store delivered in two days , slightly more expensive than Ali express , but , given taxes now applied , not much.

His Vietnam war and Civil war documentaries are excellent , I didn't really have an interest in the civil war at first , but , it was really engaging stuff.
