  1. Finally joined Parkrun after reading about it on here. Bitterly cold this morning, but managed 23.56 which I am really chuffed at. I was surprised how busy it was - almost 300 running - and how "racelike" it was. I'll be back.
  2. Yeah - I had two tops on, and that was a mistake. I ran into work (about 8 miles) so started when it was still dark, and even then it was warm.
  3. Just done my first 10k, the Rouken Glen one - 52 minutes on the clock as I went through the finish, so really pleased with that. Course was "hilly"... Felt good though.
  4. Naively. Especially if you are expecting a Council to be gritting a Motorway. But feel free to keep disclosing. It might make you realise what a f***wit you really are.
  5. Or, you shouldn't have bothered going out in the car when the weather was going to be so bad?
  6. They did. In the magic gritters made of smoke again?
  7. They were closed. Unfortunately, they were full of cars... Gritters were out this morning. However, it doesn't deal with the problem of that much snow, that fast. Grit needs "churn" to work, and it just didn't get that.
  8. I presume you are in a queue of traffic? If so, how the f*** is a gritter going to work? Is it a magic gritter made out of smoke that passes through other vehicles as if they aren't there? F***wit.
  9. Sanity and ethics win, rather than self-preservation. GIRUY
  10. Eh? You mean either the factually correct way, or the wrong way? If you difine it the wrong way, you might be right...
  11. I know this is difficult, but no, they didn't. There has been no transfer of league membership. Airdrie United ARE Clydebank - the company is the same legal entity, it has merely had a change of name.
  12. I'm feeling very slightly aroused. Have you ever considered publishing your homo-erotic prose?
  13. Maths ain't a strong point, eh? Away back to yer comps...
  14. The Herald reports this morning that "Livingston FC are marked down as the sole bill payers... and even though it is understood that Stadium House had paid their £16,000 share to the Club, the electricity company had still not received any payment from the football club". So in other words, he has been paid for half the electricity by his tenants, has kept the cash, and has let them be cut off (with the attendant cost to their businesses) as a "message to the fans"! What planet is he on?
  15. Given his predeliction for a wee drinkee-poo, and the times and tone of his posts, I would suggest that AM might have been under the influence whilst posting.
  16. The big question!!! Will they get paid today? The Herald is reporting that the wages went unpaid again yesterday, but that the "The board met with the squad yesterday to inform them of thier intention to honour the debts in the next 24 hours and it is understood that they have even promised to pay the players in cash". So, pre-Christmas - missed. 29 December - missed 31 December - paid 3 missed the rest 5 January - missed That is a hell of a banking cock-up. Thank goodness footballers don't have any financial committments of their own...
  17. For quite a few, that will have been for all of their "footballing" lives. People like you are just footballing snobs, and like all snobs, have no real grasp of what things might mean to "lesser" people. I'd rather call it the "F***ing Tedious AFC Wimbledon effect".
  18. And? Do you have to be a 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th generation fan before your feelings count?
