  1. Breaking News; Livi go all Hi-tech in fans forums and strip launches. ID checks, body scanners and drugs dogs will be deployed tomorrow in efforts to ensure no unsavory characters get in to the fans forum. Next year fans will be expected to queue up round the block for the midnight launch at Almondvale to get their hands on the most treasured garments. Apple will be there trying to capitalise on the Livi hype and massive crowds as they launch the Iphone 8 complete with the "Livi App"
  2. Given that they had offered her a settlement, what grounds did they win on? Best hope she doesn't appeal.
  3. So is it the case which you said was settled or is it a different case that is calling on Wednesday? Looks like a story?
  4. They must have changed it then because company I worked for tried this explanation and got into trouble. Surely then if they don't win/perform then they could be in breach of the regulations, which is kind of what I meant to say.
  5. Dunno how they got money from Nixon as he reportedly (in the papers) went bust. Also the statement about McDougall flies in the face of the press reports earlier in the week.
  6. Open letter to Livi Fans; http://livingstonfc.co.uk/open-letter-supporters/?platform=hootsuite
  7. We have to get a profiler on here. Whats the one from Die Harder doing these days? "The mention of money merely enraged him and he called it your......"
  8. You sure your not an incumbent of the board room? Only a boardroom member or perhaps a court usher would have known the outcome of last Wednesdays case. (Are you the guy in court who is a Livi fan?)
  9. Add ons and bonuses cannot count as part of the minimum wage.
  10. Fcuk a visit from the low pay gadgie looms. £200 isn't even minimum wage.
  11. Have they let folks know what's going on, mibbie the fans missed that bit?
  12. I'm not on the board so must be a Tom or Harry, some on here would say, given your intimate knowledge of the clubs inner workings that you were most definately a Dick.
  13. The talks are now continuing tomorrow? You need to get your finger out, the talks to bail out the banks didn't last 3 days. Tom and Harry might not know what's going on but I'd imagine there are a few dicks that do.
  14. Did the alarm company win the Nixon case? Nixon was very impassioned about it.
  15. About the current case or the one Nixon was defending?
  16. Fire alarm company I guess. I know Nixon fought a case personally in court for the club against an alarm company but not sure if this is related as it has a current case number.
  17. More money in legal fees defending a court case today.
  18. I think everyone knows that Livi are not operating on a sound business footing (they are not alone in Scottish Football in that regard). The level of debt, admittedly to "friendly creditors" is hovering near the level it was at when McGruther described the business as "hopelessly insolvent". We now know via the Nixon/LFC court case that the plan of numerous former owners was to cash out via a supermarket deal. That's gone there is no plan B or rabbit in the hat anymore. If it unravels again it will be game over. Any creditor owed over £750 by a limited company with an expired charge for payment or expired statutory demand can petition for a winding up (the creditor is liable for the costs) So there would be nothing stopping her petitioning. The problem is that even if the club paid her at that point, after service of the petition, other creditors could take carriage of the petition. I'm pretty sure that Nixon was declared bust after the award so doubt they will be seeing any of the £85k.
  19. Stan Moffat (the clubs solicitor in this case) has said he can get her a settlement but if the tribunal finds against the club that they won't be able to afford to pay the sums claimed. It's actually very common for a settlement offer to be made in such cases however it's normally at the mediation stage before ACAS issue the certificate which allows the ET1 to be issued. Turning up in Edinburgh (it's an open hearing by the way) with the defence of "we can't afford financially to lose" isn't really going to cut the mustard.
  20. According to the press report they have offered her a settlement?
  21. Tough times for Livi again and as always the fans are the last to know what's really going on.
  22. Livi getting good press for once. Even the assistant manager got a game. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/gallery-livingston-fans-live-dream-7794133
