Must admit I more glanced than examined so thought most were inter-island. I'm still a bit surprised at their extent given how expensive an option is/was. Anyway, trying to bring things back on topic, interesting though the Faroe Islands tunnels are...honest...it is a slight diversion () but one that hopefully makes it easier for fans to travel to games...

I must admit that of the bits of knowledge you can sometimes pick up on P&B, the tunnel system of the Faroe Islands was not one I'd have guessed. Reading this post I was surprised at how somewhere as small and isolated as the Faroes could afford such a project, did some googling and discover that the island group has numerous road tunnels joining them up dating back to the early 60s with even more planned. Superb stuff. I now know what my specialist subject on Mastermind will be.
