  1. Peter fucking Grant and Bigot Boy McCoist. Time to head to the kitchen for a coffee.
  2. It seems to be one of those games that I wonder if it would have made much difference tbh. I've only seen a few Dundee derbies but they've always been great. Great atmosphere and two teams going for it. By far the best of the Scottish city derbies in my experience.
  3. Wonders who the latest Johnny foreigner United have playing for them on the wing. Checks Wiki...Louis Appere, born Perth, raised Cupar. O...k.......
  4. 7-2

    Man Utd

It's hard to believe you're a Liverpool fan.
  5. I didn't even think of it being covered but in the marketing world, as many others, there are times you have to work long days when it's needed.
  6. Exactly what Saints did to help out Dundee when we bought Billy Dodds. We got a free Grant McMartin thrown in but valued at £100k to reduce what Dundee had to pay Chelsea for selling on Dodds. In true football manner I suppose, these things even themselves out over 25 seasons.
  7. Interesting thanks. Unsurprisingly Bury's attempt has also been refused although some fans are taking them to court as the next move. That'll be a total waste of time too I expect.
  8. Flippin 'eck. People actually think this. So Tottenham, the second best team in Europe. Yep, sounds right...
  9. Pity they didn't stretch to £20,010 and get him some club socks as well.
  10. Excellent Paulo. It's obviously been a stunning event as that's more information released about the club in a couple of hours than there has been over the last 30 years. Great stuff.
  11. I'm not sure if I'm being whooshed...easily done!...but I I don't know. Indeed. Sounds extremely dodgy especially given the complete mess Bury's in. I think Day's bled it dry so maybe it's to get a toe into English football for some other reason.
  12. Apparently there is a genuine bid for Bury from 'an international consortium' called SJ Global...hmmm, maybe this is why St Johnstone wouldn't cough up for Stevie May...that was in before the deadline, has the required funds and could see Saturday's game played. There is an EFL board meeting now going on now where 'the Bury situation will be discussed'. Debbie Jevans has previously said EFL can't reverse their decision. Would be quite a climb down if they reversed the decision. Not sure if these kind of people have that in them.
  13. The main issue with the Nevilles for me is not so much now but when they decided to get involved with the Salford ego trip. At that stage their beloved hometown club, the club they supposedly supported as boys and that their parents devoted much of their lives to, were 'only' in debt, like numerous other clubs. They were the local lads made good who had the very rare opportunity to buy 'their' club, make it financially stable again, invest in it directly and indirectly through their contacts, grow it and take it up a few levels while helping out their home town at the same time. Virtually every young fans dream come true. But they went for 'the Salford project' instead. Now they're crying crocodile tears and bleating away while blaming all in sundry because 'their club' has got booted out the league and likely to go completely tits up while their expensive new toy zooms up the leagues in their expensive new stadium. f**k right off and shut the f**k up. I'm delighted to hear the hypocrite brothers are getting slaughtered on social media as they deserve every single bit of flack their getting.
  14. That shamshamrock/four leaf clover.* *shamrocks only have three leaves.
  15. It's words. Look UEFA, what more could we do...
  16. Nah. They all went to Plymouth in the summer along with the manager.
  17. Chester were put in level 7 I think after City went fully tits up. They were originally placed a bit lower but successfully appealed. I expect the 'bigger' the name the higher a club will go.
  18. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49451896 Reacting to news of the Shakers' expulsion, Bury North MP James Frith...Yes we will rise again Before Saturday's announcement, the EFL said if the Shakers were expelled the club would "be free to make an application to the Football Association to rejoin league competition further down the English football pyramid from season 2020-21. So they may still be owned by a complete c**t that doesn't give a toss, they may still be in the deepest financial doodoo and still near death's door but the bottom line is they still actually exist and there is still a Bury FC. As of tonight they are just no longer a league club, not dead as you'd think from the coverage.
  19. They're being blamed for not doing their job properly in their Fit and Proper Person Test being a joke, letting crooks take over clubs and sitting back letting them get on with destroying said clubs.
  20. Apparently Sky Sports News has a countdown clock to 5pm. When you think they couldn't sink any lower that continuing to employ Carracher.
  21. https://www.burytimes.co.uk/sport/17863435.bury-bidder-fears-club-finished-takeover-collapse/ “The EFL said they wanted a solution to save Bury and I gave them it. I fear the club is finished.”
  22. I'm expecting a late announcement from Paddy Power saying they've saved them both seeing as they love football traditions so much...
  23. It's a pity Stevie didn't sign during the recent blank weekend as that was the anniversary of his last first team goal from open play and there could have been a double celebration.
