  1. I was waiting for that. I'm more than happy to see football return and for the season to be completed (I'm already bored of no football), but it's just not going to happen, and it shouldn't be at the expense of affecting next season. Looking at projections, we'll be lucky to be in a position to start kicking a ball before August, then you'd need to add in a period of "pre-season" again as you can't just expect players (who may not have been training much either) to start without it. Then there is the issue of player contracts which expire long before then. Season is done. Void it and start again.
  2. It's not an easy decision either way and not every club will be happy, but this season just isn't going to be completed. We're facing an imminent announcement that over 70's should "social distance" for a period of 4 months, that indicates how long this will last as they are apparently looking to "flatten the curve" by extending the period this outbreak lasts, or something like that. So at a very rough guess, you're looking at the start of August before you can start kicking a ball again, and you'll require a period pf pre-season. We'll be lucky to get next season started on time at this rate.
  3. Duraglit pulls out the pin with his teeth, rolls the grenade into the forum, shouts "hasta la vista suckers" and belts it..................
  4. Kinnoul wont be playing in June, none of us will. Trying to finish a season in a month or two is just daft, and also materially effects next season. Rip it up and start again.
  5. You can't do that, you just ruin next season as well. Finishing this season "come what may" is daft.
  6. Every single ex-Junior club in the east had to resign from the SJFA. There wasn't an issue in doing so. Allowing members of the WoSFL to retain membership of another national assotiation other than the SFA is a recipe for problems further down the line, and isn't a truly independent league.
  7. That's some take on my position. The stance has always been give clubs the choice, big or small, just as it exists in the east. Some posters pages back were suggesting any WRJFA clubs who don't like it can basically GTF. Is that the right way to go about this? or is the right way to let clubs apply to WoSFL and those who dont stay in the WRJFA? Clubs should not be forced into a league they don't want to be in. That was Petrie's words.
  8. I dont need to. I know what has been going on.
  9. So will these clubs join a WoSFL still as members of the SJFA and wanting to compete in the Junior Cup? That was never on the table a few days ago, it was a case of join or remain Junior, but if you do join you need to leave the SJFA behind. Just like the new EoS clubs did, a clean break, fresh start, no baggage.
  10. Kinnoul have something like 16 league games still to play. Jeanfield have 14. No way this season is being completed.
  11. There was no need for compromise or agreement. The new completely independent WoSFL was happening, the numbers and interest was there.
  12. Good idea. Go with 18 club Premier and promote Tynecastle and A N Other from the other Conference. 16 club First, and Second with remainder and new applicants.
  13. That's a viable way forward. I 've heard it's 14 - 16 - 16 with 4 new clubs. Personally I can see no way of any league being completed without major ructions.
  14. Yes. You need to have an EGM of the SJFA and WRJFA first before you can agree anything with the LL. The Junior Cup also belongs to ERJFA and NRJFA and they need to have a say on any changes. Are you really saying to WRJFA clubs that don't want to move to GTF? I thought it was a case of leaving nobody behind?
  15. So no answers then to very pertinent points. People can judge for themselves the motives. Instead, just more insults and attacks. Cool [emoji106]
  16. Aye ok GR, going to address any of the points I raised for the benefit of the debate?
  17. Nice, more unnecessary abuse! and yes he is.
  18. When did the WRJFA club vote to agree this approach? When did the SJFA hold an EGM to consult other regions? Are you leaving behind the ERJFA and NRJFA? When did the SJFA agree to amend the Constitution and their mandate? I have no hatred towards anyone, I never used racist terms towards the EoS, I never said "f*ck the LL" on Tuesday. I never described clubs who left for the EoS as traitors, or abused Kelty or Clydebank, or called BSC Glasgow a boys club with no fans. I want a truly independent WoSFL free of this shite, all you want is to preserve the SJFA and its attitudes come what may so you can say you saved the grade. You have no real interest in anything else. You wanted to take legal action against the LL a few days ago.
  19. You're bringing the divide along with you, and removing choice from clubs who want to remain Junior. Do you think those WL clubs should be forced to join the EoS even if they clearly don't want to? Why would anyone do that?
  20. Aha, Ronney, how are you bud! you here to underline eveything I've been posting about? excellent! Carry on.
  21. Aye whatever, leave off the personal attacks which you have been at all morning. Haven't you got some randoms to red dot?
  22. I can point to "option W" being bombed out the window only a few weeks ago, I can point to a similar offer from last year being bombed out the window. Now it's flavour of the month.
