Anyone involved in sacking Gary Bollan should be embarrassed to be anywhere near the club. Ridiculous act of self-sabotage.

Interesting who was sat with Ged Nixon: Neil Hogarth, Scott McMillan (until recently a big supporter of the current regime), Jim Kilday (wrote on Facebook that he tried to buy the club in 2023 lol). Not sure who the other guy they sat with was.
This Jim Kilday presumably?

Heard Ged Nixon was there.

God, Welch-Hayes... Another one that would do better than Devlin or Nottingham THAT WE HAVE UNDER CONTRACT.
Brutal. Martindale should resign as soon as we are officially relegated for such a pathetic campaign.

Obileye looked to be in tears at full time. I'm at the point now where I'm now feeling sorry for the players rather than being angry (exception of George, Nottingham and Devlin who are irredeemably rotten and should never been signed).
I asked a few weeks ago whether this was our worst ever back four and Martindale has proceeded to pick them for the last 4 games. Nottingham staying at right back when you have Carson and Brandon available to play in that position is just mind-blowingly bad management. That said, I think you could even play Nottingham at centre half if it meant that Devlin is nowhere near the squad. For an experienced centre back and alleged captain to put in a performance like that... He will be extremely lucky if a full-time team picks him up next season.

Not as brutal as sitting watching it.
Text someone to say that comparison would have been a close contest.

Livi commentary was brutal.
That is all.

I can’t imagine we would let Shamal go for free. I’d expect every other player under contract to have the option to leave for free.
Good luck convincing anyone to pay for him. Best case scenario is that we give him back to Colchester and they cancel the 40k we are due them over the next 2 seasons.

Question - is today's back 4 the worst we've ever fielded?
Delighted that all of them are out of contract at the end of the season (unless Devlin has triggered an extension, God forbid).

Quite a few times Livi players have hounded their own teammates for not doing their job.
Quite rightly. Will be delighted when the majority of these clowns are jettisoned at the end of the season. Fortunately not many under contract.

Martindale has to take most of the blame but so many times this season you have majority of players putting in a passable performance before at least one of their teammates decides to throw the rest of them under the bus with inexplicable shiteness.
Infuriating, I have no idea where it has come from after so many good seasons.

I thought he was a complete waste of space yesterday but can see your point.
If Bradley has not built up some muscle mass by the start of next season, we should be getting rid. He's brought very little to the table after his first 4/5 games last season.
He's not fast, he has a poor final ball and is way too lightweight. At least one of those three has to give for him to be anywhere near this level.
This again. Absolutely pathetic show of strength you could see coming from a mile away. Fart in the wind.

I may be alone in this opinion but I thought Colin Young was a pretty poor stadium announcer. Understand he's had a long tenure but that shouldn't be a reason to not move him on if we now have a better option with the guy brought in to help with the VAR announcements.
Hopefully gets a send off at some point but I think this move is a good one.

Subbing Bradley after 37 minutes was rotten. That's a young player contracted for next season whose confidence we want to grow not diminish.

If Donnellan is anywhere near fit, it's a complete pisstake that Martindale thinks playing Sean Kelly at centre back is an option after all the failed attempts since he signed. I'd even consider Devlin playing over him and that's saying something.

Penrice posting on his Instagram that he's down in Leicester, wonder if he's getting a deal sorted with a side down that way
Martindale mentioned him going to see a specialist recently. Might be for that.

Guthrie blunted our attack as usual and his presence especially neutered Yengi. Sean Kelly, who can't defend yet gets played centre back, didn't bother marking Clark for the St Johnstone goal.
Thought Guthrie did OK but agree with you that he neutered Yengi. Regardless of how he did, I have no idea why a winger/attacking midfielder wasn't brought on instead.
I'm still seething that Montano (who was absolutely gubbed) wasn't directly replaced by Brandon. You'd have shifted everyone over 1 spot to the left and they would have all been in a relatively comfortable position. Instead it was all about height (again).

That Brandon to centre mid sub with Sangare to left back has made me absolutely seething.
STOP. PUTTING. SQUARE. PEGS. IN. ROUND. HOLES.
Martindale lost us that win through sheer arrogance.

Good to see Montano back on the bench @LIVIFOREVER

Martindale has done a good job in getting the squad size down to 23 and supplementing the ridiculous 9 man bench with youngsters. Hamilton, Pittman, Montano, Bradley and Penrice being out has allowed Ledingham, Sharp, Culbert and Lawal all to make the squad recently. Good experience for them even if they aren't ready to start games yet.

Murray is a great player. I'd be disappointed if we didn't enquire when he came back from South Africa. Queen's Park seemed an unnecessarily low level for him unless they were paying Gretna money.

Own up - Which St Mirren fan on here was Robinson fighting with?
Excellent battling win. St Mirren probably did enough for a point but I thought we played fought really well against a good team.
The penalty was a stinking decision. The coward of a referee was staring right at the incident and still overturns his decision with hardly any contact involved in the footage. Justice done when it was saved.
Well done to the much maligned (by me) Shamal George. Came up with some crucial interventions at key moments. Thought Obileye and Nottingham did really well as well.

One of the reasons was that he failed to develop young players... The squad he had over 2 and a half years probably had the most academy graduates of ANY in our history.
Clowns.
