You should check out King Creature, Hollowstar, Daxx and Roxanne, but in particular a band form Liverpool called Scare Tactics. Their album Legion is on Spotify - let me know what you think! A big shock. Like has been said by others, I'm not usually upset by the death of celebs. I'll make an exception with Chris Cornell. So may great songs - solo and in bands. Personal favourites are (in no particular order) Black Hole Sun, Burden In My Hand, Gun, Loud Love, Hands All Over, Beyond The Wheel, Slaves And Bulldozers, Searching With My Good Eye Closed etc. Saw him Solo, Audioslave and Soundgarden. Only Mike Patton and FNM left, then nothing.

Disappointing if Johnston goes, but i don't think he's doing anything wrong. Surely he has to resign from Queens to sign on at Kilmarnock and he'll have to talk to Clark to see if he wants to go with him. That will take time. There's a lot going on behind the scenes at Killie for him to ponder as well. His desicion affects others and he has right to take his time. Remember, the Queens board gave their permission for him to talk to Killie. They could have said no and told him to honour his contract and I'm sure he would have done so. If he does go Queens have a pretty decent squad to start the season and should be able to attract an adequate replacement. Johnston is still unproven at this level, let alone in the SPL.

Everyone was glad to see the back of McPherson. I've not seen enough of Accies to judge how Billy Reid set his team up each week, but he did take them to the SPL and brought on players like McCarthy and McArthur. He did this with a team with similar if not inferior resources to Queens. So he's actually proven at this level.

That would rule out most top managers/coaches around the world.

I was at the Stenny game all those years ago. All I can remember is it being really wet, Joe McGurn broke his leg (you could hear the crack from the other side of the pitch) and Queens won on penalties.

I think Goram is a Dick as well. I'm embarrassed Goram was ever associated with Queens and wanted Colin Scott to play in the Challenge Cup final. Unfortunately when we're dead and buried and the history books are checked, Andy Goram's name will be on that team sheet as Queen Of The South goalkeeper when Queens won the Challenge Cup for the first time. No mention of the Arbroath wondergoal or the two stoppage time goals he lost against St. Johnstone when Queens led 2-0 or any of his bigoted lifestyle.
