  1. Wow. Just wow. I really don't know where to start with this. So a noisy vociferous support is a sign of fans who are not complacent? If our fans sing & dance for 90 minutes in 1/3rd full stadiums with next to no away support then we've accepted where we are & the league we're in? You'll need to explain that one to me as I don't understand it one little bit. I've attended a fair few away games this season & have really enjoyed them. After so many years in the top 2 leagues there is a definite novelty factor to this league & the grounds we've went to (which may wear off). However I remember vividly walking out of Glebe Park in September not really being too disappointed at drawing a game 1-1 that we should have won. I was kinda content that we had grabbed a point from a game where both teams had a half each & deserved to take something. I didn't see any complacency at all amongst players or supporters. I think most of our fans have acknowledged where we are & what we need to do to get out this league but it was never EVER going to be easy. I've been to 30-odd games this season & very few of them have been "easy" (Arbroath 3-0 at home is about the only one that would fall into that category) - indeed every team has posed us problems at some point during the 90 minutes. I really think you've made up this complacency/arrogance issue in your head based on what you read on here & .net. Indeed if any of our supporters still believe we are better than this league then it would be more stupidity than arrogance.
  2. Agreed, however there were a few who fell into that category & when they eventually re-appeared in Div 1 they transformed into utter wasters, him being the prime suspect.
  3. Sorry for picking you up again (not stalking) but why can't you say "Whittle is better" rather than "Grainger is worse"??
  4. And your point in amongst that word soup is? My point, incase you missed it, was that you & others were quick to jump down the throat of the few who had a go at Josh on .net, yet you didn't feel obliged to balance that by mentioning the vast majority who quickly rounded on said posters & backed Josh whatever decision he makes.
  5. There seems to be a fair few on here with a huge chip on their shoulder about .net. I was merely pointing out that it was a tiny minority who had a go and that they were roundly criticised for it.
  6. To be fair it was 2 posters on .net. The vast majority were fully supportive of Josh. But hey, don't let facts get in the way of your story.
  7. ^^^what these 2 said^^^ unless he signs for Raith or Falkirk, he can fcuk aff forever
  8. Dry yer fcukin eyes min! You suggested we shell for out for Darren Dods & others like him, suggesting we gamble everything (again) on promotion. You need to recognise the difference between debate & abuse mate. No-one doubted the need for experience, the concern was affording it.
  9. .net gets a hard time, probably quite rightly in some cases. However there are some complete dicks on every forum & highlighting the odd few who get carried away on a signings thread is hardly proving a point.
  10. Jimmy says its pish so it must be. Merry Christmas Everybody!!!
  11. Fantastic news. Shows what can be done if the right people go about things in a proper, professional manner. Our club. DAFC.
  12. What kind of person has more than one user name when posting on a football forum? Jesus wept.
  13. Did you edit that post to add in rage or remove it? Interested.
  14. Away supports have been shite. Our team is relatively young. And DA Baracus is a fucking helmet. Next?
  15. I was very impressed with intelligent answers given by the panel, in particular Ian Hunter.
  16. Can understand why fans of other clubs & indeed our own want to to question Leishmans' role within the previous regime. To some he was only wheeled back in by the board to bring fans back who'd deserted the club when he left in 1990. However that was then. This is now. We have emerged from a terrible 12 months with a club we can call our own. There's obviously going to be some really hard times ahead but I can think of no better person to be at the forefront of the new board than big Leish. We are lucky to have him.
  17. I wouldn't be too harsh on Starks Park and the atmosphere within it. I've been to a few grounds over the years that are similar & the atmosphere is comparable. Plus like someone posted earlier, you cannot put a price on a club with an identity within the community & a ground that is 10 minutes walk from the High Street & pubs etc. Always enjoyed my trips to Starks. Hopefully not too long to wait til we meet again.
