  1. Happy to help. Not an attack, but as I've said before I disagree with almost everything you post on here? I'm actually starting to worry about myself. Is it me?
  2. Please do. Getting tired of reading the same old dross you churn out week after week after week. Alternatively, lighten up & enjoy the fact you're supposed team has won their last two games. No idea what your remark regarding status with pals is all about. Enlighten me?
  3. Can I remind you - Dunfermline 3 Stenhousemuir 2 You really need to do other things with your life. The Pars are clearly not the answer.
  4. Word your posts better if future then. There will always be a place for both types of fullback in football at any level. Fullbacks can't all be Cafu or even Ivo Den Bieman. Also, Millens delivery isn't "fairly shite". Pretty silly comment by someone who's clearly made his mind up about a player and refuses to change it. He puts in at least 4 or 5 decent pacy balls every game I've been to this season.
  5. Dread to think how you'll all take it if he plays & we don't win on Saturday........Pars-related P&B meltdown. He's a promising player who's still developing as a footballer & a person(!), but he's recovering from a pretty serious injury & as was said above, we're not a one-man team. No danger should he be rushed back.
  6. Standing on the terracing at Central Park at 2.50pm on the first day of the season 2012/13 (the start of "The Journey") realising I was £20 up already after one of them bet me they would win every single game, only for them to fcuk it up on Day One at Peterhead.
  7. Whilst I agree Thomson has certain qualities the team could be doing with, Geggan was outstanding against Ayr a week ago. So maybe bombing him out for a week worked? Only time will tell I suppose. I would always find a place in the team for Spence. Really calm & composed on the ball. Need others around him in midfield to step up to the mark like earlier in the season & we'd be sorted.
  8. Awesome. Just awesome. Instead of enjoying a rare 3 points you rake around the net looking for things to piss yourself off. It is staggering how utterly ridiculous you make yourself look on here on an almost daily basis.
  9. According to the Courier he wasn't offered anything by the Pars. How's that Daily Record working out for ya today, chump?
  10. What does it tell you? That a guy who is available didn't sign for us. What's the problem? Surely it's better to look at him (as I believe we did in a U-20s game) then let the manager decide rather than basing your transfer policy on Pie & Bovril & .net? Alternatively, try not believing everything you see on here or in the Daily Record.
  11. Don't apologise to me mate. I don't take anything seriously on internet forums. I know we're all passionate about the Pars, you must age with me as I started going in the early 80s too. I'm sure you'll agree there were many shite spells during our time following the Pars, the early 90s is one I clearly remember off the top of my head, just makes the good times better when they return hopefully soon. I'm not big on tactics or formations so won't question anyone who theorises about how we line up in a game but I'll always contest with those who say a player is "lazy" or the team "didn't try". My problem is that I'll freely admit to probably still being grateful we have a club which most of you will probably disagree with but the events of 2013 are still too fresh in my mind. That feeling is contributing to the lacklustre feeling I have watching this season so far. I know it's shite just now, but it's our club & we can all contribute to it in any small way. I've had my run-ins with her on .net but look at the work Marvyn is doing in that shop, just one instance of a fan doing their bit voluntarily to help. No way would she have been allowed or encouraged to do that 2 years ago. It's things like that that keep me going, knowing that we are listened to now and things that can be changed are changed, finance permitting. Legends & Charlie D's all things that we, the fans, asked to happen and have been changed. I'm rambling now..........cheers for the apology but there really is no need.
  12. HTH. I'm sorry you feel the need to take a break from this forum for a while, but I really think it's in your best interests. You seem incapable of letting go of the past & just about every post you make refers back to the GM era, which I believe to be firmly in the past. I certainly know little about the runnings of our club but what I do know is that the people in charge now have the best interests of the club at heart & won't let us slip into the mess he allowed us to get into.
  13. Whoa.........hold the phone. These names ain't for real?
  14. I've checked, you're not on my Facebook friends list, so can I just say that is one top quality post - agree 100%
  15. I'll say it agan - I can't recall one single post of yours which says anything positive. Not one. Happy to be proved wrong though.
  16. I have. On countless occasions. I think Darren Dods would be a backward step for a club like ours & I make no apology for thinking that. I'd rather watch a player like Lewis Martin develop as I, along with a few others, think he has what it takes & I'm willing to tolerate the few mistakes he is making. You criticised the club earlier today, calling it a mess off the park. Tell us how you would change things off the park please. You must have some ideas. The other opinions weren't necessarily yours. You asked about "fans".
  17. OK you never answered my questions but I'll answer yours - Not all of them although in many of the games I don't think we've done a lot wrong - just a failure to take our chances being our downfall. Not yet, that's obvious. A manager can't be judged after 4 games though. The fans lack of support & general abuse of players is contributing to results IMO. Strikers taking even half the chances we create would see us win more than we lose. Saturday aprt, we've created enough to win most games this season. We don't score enough when we're on top in games. If the opinion is valid & is constructive criticism then of course it should be allowed to be heard. IMHO invalid opinions include repeating that Lewis Martin is a terrible player over & over again, criticising Ross Millen for not being Ryan Williamson, slagging Hubby off then wanting him back as soon as he leaves, saying we're a mess of a club off the park, saying we're unprofessional on the park, banging on about events involving GM repeatedly when everyone else appears to have moved on, suggesting we sign Darren Dods...........
