I’ve driven over the Bay Bridge which is further down the Chesapeake Bay from the Key Bridge, and that has been described as one of the scariest bridges to cross in the US. There are drive-over companies that you can hire to drive your car over if you are unwilling to do so yourself.

I would have thought there has to be, although maybe not the time she took. What if you drive in, can't find a space or change your mind, then drive straight out without parking?

I know who she is, I was just commenting on the picture that was posted. That picture was the first I'd seen about this whole thing and I didn't know or recognise who the woman was. As for the kids, I wouldn't be able to tell you who they were if my life depended on it. I have the same interest in her kids as I have for the kids of anyone else I've never known or spoken to.
