2. Drivers who don’t know how to take roundabouts, what lane to be in approaching roundabouts, what lane to be in on roundabouts, with Westfield Road in Cumbernauld being prime time roundabout arsewipe kunt area a particular annoyance to me personally. Roundabouts with a two-lane approach, but three one-way exits? Lost count the amount of times a kunt has nearly hit me on the one at Craigmarloch Tesco.
Tied in with that is when a roundabout is 'improved' by signalisation, and the lanes that you would be in on the roundabout in a free moving one bear no relation to the lanes you need to be in where you get stopped at traffic lights on the roundabout.

I prefer this take on where we sit in the scheme of things

5p in 1940 was worth about £2 today, if anyone cares.
No wonder the auld dear pounced on it. That'd probably pay for half a glass of advocaat.
In the early 1970's if I found a 1/2p coin when out playing, I could buy a couple of blackjacks or fruit salad chews from the ice cream van.

No actually - see the example below from 2014.
I only skim read it, but was that not a case in English courts, a different legal system from us?

Sorry, but the shifting the discussion onto sick people is a nice little diversion tactic from Rishi to create headlines.
Have the media really already moved on from a story of a sitting MP being essentially kidnapped for ransom within 36 hours?? I mean, I know we live in Batshit crazy times when it comes to politics, but if you pause for a moment, that is quite staggering that there isnt massive investigations as to who these people were and why? Megan Markle farts in the bath and the Daily Mail claim she is causing icebergs to melt, surely this story doesn't just drop down the news?
If this happened in Columbia you might half ignore it, but a sitting MP from the governing party has been kidnapped in the last few months and the PM is talking policy (cuntish policy, yes), but still policy.
Mental.
Also, the Peter Murrell arrest yesterday was another good deflection from MP kidnapping story.

The home gym guy from the Tesco Whoosh advert would make an excellent serial killer.

“The Conservative Party has been aware of some of the allegations against Mark Menzies for "a while", defence secretary Grant Shapps has confirmed. “I wonder how many scandals the Tories are trying to keep the lid on so they don’t become public knowledge before the General Election.
But, but, but, Angela Rayner ...

I've been watching The Dropout on iplayer. It's been pretty decent with a very good cast and a good performance from Amanda Seyfried (off topic, but I didn't realise how tiny she is, which is why I thought she was one of the Fanning lassies until I checked), and I thought it was a Macbeth type story as a young CEO who wants to be a billionaire more than anything and whose ambition causes her to act increasingly dreadfully.
I'm realising with trepidation that the series wants me to sympathise and even root for this entitled psychopath. They keep playing the identitarian card and telling me that the reason the men in this world won't take her seriously is because she is a woman. It's set in the early 2000's so I would accept this is absolutely true, but I know at this stage she is lying about her product (doing so will risk thousands and potentially millions of lives) and she has invented absolutely nothing, and dropped out of college after freshman year, so there are genuine material reasons for the scepticism. The series mentions often her hero worship of Steve Jobs, but Jobs (also one for taking credit for a'body's work) didn't just drop out and become a CEO (like our protagonist) he actually worked, built and gambled to get to where he got.
I'll keep it up, but at the moment this looks like a villain's journey masquerading as a hero's one.
I've watched a couple of documentaries about Theranos and I have absolutely no sympathy for the real Elizabeth Holmes, who has the eyes and look of a psychopath.

And if it had been about about $4.7 billion a couple Of weeks ago?
It's still more money than I can probably spend in my lifetime. But I'm a simple person who thinks the lottery jackpot is more than I'd ever need.

Trump’s shares now down to a value of $2.2 billion, as the stock has dropped another 15% on news they’re looking to issue more shares via warrants. Current price about $27, so short selling enthusiasts that successfully found some shares to short are close to seeing money!
I'd be upset if my investments dropped to only $2.2 billion.

Got an email from Chargeplace Scotland on 10th April saying that their payment provider is changing on 15th April and I need to update my payment details by 15th April otherwise I will be blocked from using the network and I won't be able to charge the car. The website is down, and apparently has been for 3 days, so not possible to get onto my account. I love it when you get so much notice of change. Thankfully I charge at home, and haven't needed to use the network for a couple of years.

Not a total but the one we had here in 2015 was 90%. Was very strange and the temperature dropped quite noticeably and all the birds shut up. Felt like the sun had been dimmed down a notch or two as well.
My next door neighbour Mike brought out his 8 inch reflector for the occasion.
Enjoy and take some photos.
The birds shutting up, and the whole place in general going quiet is what I remember most.

Then there’s the ones who weren’t at fault to begin with but they take absolutely no evasive action to avoid an accident because they had right of way.
That's an interesting one. On one hand I agree that if people can, they should take evasive action to avoid an accident. On the other hand, if sensible drivers keep doing that then the c***ts have won and they'll continue to think they have free rein on the road.

I'm getting at least two hedgehogs into the feeding stations every night. Sometimes they meet, and aren't always friendly.

The campaigners said that farmers across the UK were “basically kept afloat” by EU subsidies and now risk going out of business. Analysis by the organic farming group Riverford has found that half of farmers surveyed said they may go out of business due to post-Brexit trade deals, uncertainty over farming payment schemes and rising costs.
Yet many farmers were apparently supporters of Brexit

I wonder what the Council's stance on planning permission for houses would be.
