  1. Also, the Peter Murrell arrest yesterday was another good deflection from MP kidnapping story.
  2. The home gym guy from the Tesco Whoosh advert would make an excellent serial killer.
  3. And, from where I'll always remember him, The Reverend Jim in Taxi
  4. I've watched a couple of documentaries about Theranos and I have absolutely no sympathy for the real Elizabeth Holmes, who has the eyes and look of a psychopath.
  5. It's still more money than I can probably spend in my lifetime. But I'm a simple person who thinks the lottery jackpot is more than I'd ever need.
  6. I'd be upset if my investments dropped to only $2.2 billion.
  7. Watching the end of Free Solo, and although I've seen it before, I'm still crapping myself watching it.
  8. Got an email from Chargeplace Scotland on 10th April saying that their payment provider is changing on 15th April and I need to update my payment details by 15th April otherwise I will be blocked from using the network and I won't be able to charge the car. The website is down, and apparently has been for 3 days, so not possible to get onto my account. I love it when you get so much notice of change. Thankfully I charge at home, and haven't needed to use the network for a couple of years.
  9. It looks like someone has moved into one of the bird boxes
  10. Very fast. This one seems to have come out of nowhere. Untitled video (8).mp4
  11. One visited our garden today, and has left a body and blood everywhere. They could at least 'do the dishes' after they have dinner.
  12. The birds shutting up, and the whole place in general going quiet is what I remember most.
  13. That's an interesting one. On one hand I agree that if people can, they should take evasive action to avoid an accident. On the other hand, if sensible drivers keep doing that then the c***ts have won and they'll continue to think they have free rein on the road.
  14. I'm getting at least two hedgehogs into the feeding stations every night. Sometimes they meet, and aren't always friendly. 1712273517266 - Trim.mp4
  15. For as long as I can remember white sliced bread has been like that, the slices alternate thick/thin.
  16. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2024/apr/04/british-farmers-want-basic-income-to-cope-with-post-brexit-struggles Yet many farmers were apparently supporters of Brexit https://www.fwi.co.uk/news/farmer-support-brexit-strong-ever-fw-poll-reveals Leopards. Faces. ?
  17. I had chocolate covered bacon in Atlantic City a few years ago, the first and only time I've tried it. It looked as it tasted, crap.
  18. The way manufacturers say that reducing pack or bar size, whilst increasing prices, is giving the consumer good value for money.
  19. Saw a strange rainbow over the Kincardine Bridge tonight. It had the normal bow, plus a straight bit going off at a tangent.
  20. I'm assuming it blocks the 'view' from his bedroom to the bedroom of the house over the back.
  21. I see so many new houses now that are built behind retaining 'walls' and my first thought is always "when will that fail and who will pay". Like this one in Dunfermline, not the worst one I've seen, but just an example.
