I can't stop watching that James Scott miss. What the hell was he doing.
He's shown nothing so far. Worried.

He was good and defo can be mentioned in the same breath as the others. But for me Hladky was the best of the three. Where are they now though?
Hladky playing every week for Ipswich who are still in with a shout for automatic promotion to EPL.

Having now watched the highlights of calamity Carson giving away the most ridiculous penalty for Hibs yesterday, while Zach Hemming kept his 15 th clean sheet at the SMISA. There can be no doubts about who has the better keeper.
There really was some mental comments online in the summer when he left.
It was either here or twitter where someone suggested Carson was the best out of him, Hladky and Alnwick. Bat shit stuff.

Away from the shite football, what'd the script with Tannahill Road, St Mirren fans? Parked my car there and was like walking through a real life zombie apocalypse.
It's all being demolished for new housing. Long before time.

Carson throwing one in the net then not really attempting to save the 2nd. Absolutely glorious.
We told you he was shite!

Delighted to beat 1983 FC

I didn't realise Boyle was on the bench. Surely must have been carrying an injury as the way our defence played tonight he would have had a field day.
First half was our worst performance of the season. Improved 2nd half, yet another mistake led Hibs in again. Delighted with the point and the resilience of this team. Onto Dundee!

No complaints, we were poor. Best spell was the 10 mins or after the triple subs up to the goal.
Baccus should have started, midfield poor all night.
Onwards and upwards!

Counting down the minutes until Easter Road on Wednesday. I love this team.

I like Motherwell. Basically the same club as us, similar towns with the best people in the town supporting their local club.

Kettlewell conveniently forgetting McGinn's tackle immediately after Dunne and the fact Mugabi was an absolute stone wall red card.

Motherwell had some amount of possession in 2nd half but apart from the long range save from Hemming there were no other shots on target.
Playing on the counter we should have killed it. Games between the two sides this year are going to be tight as f**k.
Fantastic from the buddies though, great start to the season.

Can we all take a minute to discuss just how worrying Bolton looked ?
I know it's early, I know he's been injured, but my goodness he needs to improve.

Hard to put into words how easy this has been

Chris Kerr was also in that group, another promising player who had his career ruined by Tokely.
Its only now you realise how important the youth system in the 90s was. Fees for guys like Lavety, Gillies, O'Brien/McNamee kept us solvent.
Not to mention the home grown players in the millennium champions squad like McGarry, Murray etc.
I really hope Robbo starts to blood a few more in the months to come.

Shocking season, outstanding strips The words "Raith Away" still sends shivers down the spine.
We got our karma against Raith in the Millennium Champions season. 6-0 2nd game of the season, Tommy Turner's last minute header at Love Street and coming from 1-0 down to win 2-1 in the last 3 minutes. I thought I was going to have a heart attack at Juniors goal.
Not to mention they were the cannon fodder for the title game.

Why bother?
It won't achieve anything.
The only time I've booed an ex-player simply for jumping ship was Junior Mendes when he left for Dunfermline. To be fair they guy was broken after about 20 minutes as "mass booing" occurred every time he got the ball. He was that badly affected that he had to be subbed at HT.
Yeah I booed Junior. I couldn't believe he left us when he did.
Booed Alex Bone as well, both when he was playing for us or against us.

Bump.
When we drafting ?

We've been very lucky with keepers the last few years, especially after the shite of Ridgers and the boy from Swansea.
However, Carson was comfortably behind both Hladky and Alnwick, and freeing up his wage and transfer fee might allow us to get back in the market to get another keeper in.

I hate this time of the year, the negativity is always off the charts.
I can't comment on the new signings as I haven't been to the games, but they seem the type of players that are in our target market.
I also don't mind the players who have left. If I could I'd have kept Joe but that's it. No concerns about Gallagher or Carson. I still can't get Carson's performance at Fir Park out my head !
We'll beat Forfar on Saturday, get into a good mindset for Hibs and the rollercoaster will start again.
Mon the fucking saints.

I'll be absolutely gutted if Strain leaves. Best player at the club and is absolutely crucial to system we play.

I don't know AW personally , but he is an "old school" St Mirren fan. I'm afraid that there lies the problem. For decades there has been too much of an "old school " influence on club matters, dating back to (earlier than ?) the 70s and the Todd, Corson reign when Sir AF had saved the club from oblivion and turned it completely round in three years , only for the BOD to fail to turn a blind eye to some misdemeanours that were only for the good of the players and the club. To this day it still seems that the support want to be as successful as possible , but the old-guard , like AW and some notable others want to do it in the old style , small-time , St Mirren way. I'm afraid when we have forward thinking new blood on the board , Fan-ownership and a fantastic CEO ? in Keith Lasley, then things are going to be much different from the past. Seeing AW stand up and berate the board members at the AGM was like stepping into a 70s time capsule , a cringe-fest which should have been nipped in the bud !
100%. This goes to the guys who forced out the old SMISA board as well.
Thankfully, they seemed to have settled down and obviously Devine is away but we all need to move on.
Wardop will be found out in court.
