  1. I'd say Tommy Goss is a fair bit above big John's level. The helicopter would never have scored 20+ goals in the 2nd division. Agree that we should take a punt on Goss though.
  2. Yeah, it all kicked off a fair bit after the injury. A bit of a rammy on the Clyde bench towards him too.
  3. Cheers. Based it on THIS ARTICLE but I guess Accies probably got McGowan to proof read!!
  4. Jammer was a great shot stopper and all-round good guy no doubt, but part of our inability to defend set pieces has to be down to him not interested in commanding his 6 yard box. I'm all for a new goalie, a big stocky wan !
  5. Quite happy about Dick being given another contract. A fairly dependable, utility defenceman who gives 100% and hardly gets injured? Yup. Who's to say he won't be more solid (hang fire, humourless Raith fans) with better centre halves beside him anyway? I can't remember him being directly responsible for too many goals, that Ayr game notwithstanding!!
  6. Mcglynn discussing a potential 4 goal swing in 2nd leg - 'Football's crazy. I've been involved in a game where we lost 4 goals in 20 minutes" Well, quite. How about an example when a team you have managed came back from 4 goals down instead of simply stating ANOTHER TIME you lost buckets of goals in record time, muppet.
  7. "Good morning" says Hazel to Selby. Fair play
  8. Virgo and Hendry right about now...
  9. Selby min! Worse than Ebdon. Can a 4 time winner be less loved in snooker?
  10. Still 2 goals and 3 assists since then, as opposed to 8 goals and 2 assists for the 1st half. His workrate hasn't dropped either and he's always involved. You can't disregard him for inclusion just because the 2nd half doesn't match up to the 1st.
  11. I really wasn't expecting too much from Peter Hook & The Light last night at the o2, but it was absolutely wonderful. Ran through some New Order songs then Unknown Pleasures and Closer, followed by JD crowd pleasers. He's got a great band too. Played for around 2.5 hours. Top stuff.
  12. Why? We've dropped a poor Isma for our top scorer so hopefully be better than that god-awful 1st half last Sunday.
  13. I just assumed, like Gary Barlow once sang, he's back for good.
  14. What's this about Ngwenya now? Our bench will be the strongest it's been in the Challenge Cup since the Morton game. Jamie, Lang and Millen all fine. Not sure about McBride.
  15. Did the highlights not show Vaughan's shot for the hat-trick that the goalie tipped onto the bar? There's 12 minutes and I maybe zoned out but I can't remember seeing it.
  16. As great as Easton's goal was, I thought our 6th was better. Passing all the way up the pitch for McGill to tap in. Beautiful move
  17. Says it all about our lack of punch up front that the young team decide a penalty save was worthy of a flare going off. What next, Gullan lasting 90 minutes?
  18. Got up the park pretty well I thought, especially to pick out Easton in the box 2nd half. Best outfield player for my money.
  19. We've only won twice in the league in the same period, despite being on a 13 game unbeaten run. Statistics, eh?
  20. I'd quite like to see Mousonda, lacking match-sharpness, take on Aidan Connolly
