  1. Fletcher with a goal for Sunderland tonight. Do it when wearing blue, Fletch!
  2. Courteeners tonight at Alhambra. Doubt it'll be sell out but hopefully be decent.
  3. Agreed. Those saying we're going to win comfortably I think are kidding themselves. Whilst Ireland won't come to Glasgow and outplay us, I think it will be a very tight (and nervy) game. I can see it becoming a tense affair especially if it's 0-0 for a while, we'll need the fans right behind us.
  4. The amount of people I've spoken to, and those on this site, that didn't even see the option for delivery makes me question whether it was actually there. Is there any benefit to them for us collecting the tickets on the same day? Such a complete pain in the arse.
  5. I think mines is the same. But when I booked for Georgia I was given the option, didn't see the button this time. I'm gonna call tomorrow to sort it, no chance today.
  6. Scrap what I said. Got my tickets. Delighted!!
  7. A bit gutted that they advertise them for sale from 12 but dont tell you that folk will have been in a queue for them long before that. Rearranged my work stuff for later so I could get on at 12, an hour and a half wait...
  8. Any tartan army members able to enlighten me as to the availability of tickets when they go on sale at 12? I'll be looking for 4 together but unsure on if I'll get them. Unsure if you'll be able to see the seating plan as it is now with the booked/unbooked seats but just in case!
  9. True. But surely if he is found to have interests in the 3 clubs, he'll have to rid himself of 2 of them.
  10. It really is a complete farce, and I hope he gets well and truly shafted at this hearing or whatever in a couple of weeks. It's all well and good him spouting shite about investments etc but I can't see how, with us being reportedly in a bit of a mess financially, that this investment is ever going to pay off.
  11. Got a day off tomorrow so gonna try convince a few mates to join me in a blast up Ben Vrackie. Done it a few times before and it's quite an easy one, but need to get back into it. Hopefully the weather improves slightly.
  12. He signed a contract with us last season for the remainder of last season then for this season. Perhaps it was terminated early? Who knows. He certainly hasn't been involved so far this season.
  13. As far as I'm aware he's retired. Signed for this season but injured quickly and doesn't seem likely he'll be back.
  14. Announcement from the Supporters Trust - ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SUPPORTERS TRUST Dear Trust Member The board of the East Fife Supporters’ Trust (The Trust) has confirmed it is working towards an offer to buy East Fife FC from the club’s major shareholders. This follows direct contact with the club’s major shareholders by the board of The Trust to express concerns about the club’s position following the recent resignation of the East Fife FC’s chairman, Mr Lee Murray. As a result of that contact, the major shareholders indicated they would be interested in receiving an offer for their holdings from The Trust. After the recent resignation of Lee Murray as Chairman of the club we established contact with the club’s majority shareholders to express our concerns. They indicated they would be interested in receiving a bid for their holdings from The Trust and we are now working with Supporters Direct Scotland to develop a plan to make that happen. The Trust see this situation as an opportunity, finally, for our club to be owned by our supporters. Clearly it will require great commitment from our supporters both financially and in other ways for our efforts to succeed. Obviously much work has to be done and it will not be possible to provide updates on every detail of the negotiation but we will aim to keep everyone advised as far as we can. Supporters Direct Scotland has already advised several other clubs on supporter buyouts including Hearts, Dunfermline and Stirling Albion. Supporters Direct Scotland has committed its full support and is currently advising on the creation of a financial package and business plan required to facilitate the purchase. A public meeting of supporters is planned for Saturday 30th August following the club’s home match against East Stirling. We look forward to having everyone’s support.
  15. Seething. Verge of tears. We will never move forward as a club.
  16. Happy with that. White shorts, plus the shirt is a bit different from the usual.
  17. I'm sure the players are good enough for this league but given the complete lack of desire shown throughout the season I get the impression none of them want to play for this club.
  18. Indeed. The revolution we all bought into has turned into a farce. If we reach double digits of this seasons team that get signed on for next year it'll be a complete disaster.
  19. So based on Naysmiths interview, he'll most likely have a meeting with the board today. Could be tomorrow but that's supposedly the day they were meant to meet the players and discuss their futures so I'd imagine the managers future would be sorted before that.
  20. Yep. Technically don't think he's up to much. The fact that he's so quick and agile makes him a decent enough player but nothing I'd want in a starting line-up.
  21. Hardly have years of experience with managers, safe to say Aitchison this season was an absolutely dreadful appointment. Hard to judge how he was tactically, mainly due to the completely inept group of players that was signed/kept on from last season. For whatever reason I never really rated Dave Baikie either. Guided us to the 3rd division title but we would have walked that with any manager considering Wullie Gray's f**k tonne of money.
  22. Hmmm. Not great then. I honestly had high hopes for these two. Both still very young, especially Harper so no panic yet. But safe to say Feruz will need to get out of Chelsea within the next year or so otherwise he's in danger of wasting his potential.
  23. Any updates on this kid? Probably a few years off anything for the first team but is it out of the question him being loaned to another Prem/Championship/League 1 club next season?
  24. I assume Hartley doesn't rate him? Good new for us, stand out in this division.
