  1. But the only playoffs you'll be in are at the bottom end of the table.
  2. At 2 nil why did Hamilton try and chest the ball into the net when he should have put his head on it. The problem we have on Tuesday is with O'Reilly, he may not be able to play as other clubs including Arbroath will be looking for available centre halfs. Seeing as we are getting no Watson updates maybe he'll rock up at EEP. Dunfermline look like they will have a few players out on Tuesday but we need to keep it tight in the middle of the park. Get Byrne and Brown in together, Vaughan in behind Hamilton with Mullin and Easton out wide.
  3. Completely agree regarding applauding a player who got them back in the game.
  4. Murray has to take responsibility for today's result. 2 nil up basically against 10 men and we could have seen that out by bringing on Ross Matthews for one of the many attack minded players and took control in the middle of the park. This 4 1 3 2 does not work without Stanton as no one else covers the massive hole in the middle of the park. We need to change to a 4 2 3 1. And can someone tell Millen he needs to put a foot in to stop a cross.
  5. Yet Bene preferred playing on the left and so did Berra. Partick were renowned last season for quick attacking play which Tiffoney was part of.
  6. In January I'd like to see a couple of players come in. A right sided centre half to play alongside Murray. Watson will no doubt come back but will he last the season injury free. I also agree we need a fast winger, Ayr had that the other night and he caused us no end of problems. If Tiffoney I'd available on loan we should try and get him in. I would also put Masson out on loan if we get someone in and consider putting Matthews out for January to give him games but that's only if Byrne stays.
  7. The problem with O'Reilly is his position. He likes playing on the left side of defence but so dies Murray. Its the right side we need cover for as Murray doesn't look as good on the right.
  8. Brilliant to get Murray on a 3 year deal. Social media has to be the best yet.
  9. For a start a Dunfermline fan giving other clubs advise on budgets when your chairman borrowed 10 mil and never paid it back, at the same time your club took many a small business to the wall. We also have a very good balance of players on good money and others not picking up massive wages. We signed an 18 year old laddie from Kdy and Dysart FC. We have a third keeper, midfielder and striker all around 20 out on loan and two 19 Yr old CHs. None of these players will be on decent money. We also don't run a big squad and put an experienced pro out on loan to balance the books.
  10. This is Dunfermline fans all over. Again think they are far bigger than they actually are. Why would Easton or Bryne want to go down the way. Easton will probably want a shot at top league football.
  11. To be fair they're not even relevant, another defeat at home.
  12. Brilliant result, brilliant support, this team are something else. Another 2 tough games this year.
  13. What a game last night. We were brilliant for long spells, had a mini collapse and still managed to turn it around with the subs coming of a strong bench making a difference. Brown helped to control things in midfield, Connolly provided a threat and Smith changed the game with a goal and an assist.
  14. Not surprising by the way the media have bummed him up. BBC and Sky have nothing but praise for a thug. Murray should have won November manager of the month, but I'd rather fly under the radar and keep winning games.
  15. Do I care, no. We got promoted, we've since moved on and upwards, whilst your team is close to disappearing out of the league setup and into football oblivion. Away and enjoy your team whilst it lasts. I certainly know I'm enjoying the football we are playing and may even see them in the top league in the next season or 2.
  16. Who the f**k are you. Your Highland League team have appointed a convicted thug as manager. Wee team that's something coming from a club that are nothing more than a bankrolled Buckie Thistle.
  17. What a come back brilliant, now DA NO 1 piss off and watch your second rate shit team.
  18. The good thing is they might get the bounce after a manager leaving and stuff the Pars.
  19. I'm bored of you now, enjoy your season watching a shit team.
  20. Sorry the relevance to the 18 year old is we as a club have been accused of over spending when we run a tight squad with youths in the squad that won't be on big money. I've also heard how you have a young squad. The example I'll give is Ethan Ross. A young guy we signed from Aberdeen, who was seen as a player, went down south on trials with Championship clubs and ended up with us. We all believed we has signed a great player yet it never really worked out and now it looks like he's away permanently as he's on loan to Falkirk till the end of the season. KRH, Matty Todd and others could go the same way and if you don't get any success.
  21. Can you honestly see a big increase in budgets since they came in. If and when we start to have a dip in form I'm sure our fans will not question everything. Considering this is not a 1 year plan, it's longer term.
  22. First of all you ask where we are getting our money I pointed out that off field activity had increased massively. Now you want me to substantiate your German owners commitments to your club. Again I've heard from someone in the football world thats their intentions. Nothing wrong with it, if it works and you get quality youth players coming through. They are not at your club to invest heavily in first team matters. Maybe if they stick around long enough and they make money from youth players it may change.
  23. Believe it or not I've a few friends that's are Pars fans. The season you were relegated they all believed you would be promoted. I've read on here recently how you are a bigger club than Ross County, Hamilton, ICT, St Johnstone etc and how you should be in the Premiership. I'm sure there are several other clubs that could say the same the difference with my attitude is first and foremost we don't get relegated after that anything is an achievement. I could go on about the players some of your fans belive you should sign. The difference between our boards are you have German investors that have no interest in the first team and are clearly wanting to set up an academy to profit out of any youth. Our board are about improving the team on the pitch, commercial and social media activity and links within the community with schools etc.
