Many of these Putin admirers tick many/all of the "conspiracy nutter" boxes. I remember having a "debate" on the war with one of those on Twitter. I checked  his profile and he ticked all these boxes:

    • Believes all pro-Putin/Russia propaganda, even the craziest stuff the Russians themselves wouldn't even put out
    • Anti-vax (not just Covid, just antivax in general)
    • Covid denier
    • Climate change denier
    • Believes Trump won the 2020 election
    • Believes the WEF wants to abolish all countries and form one single world government
    • Believes "15 minute cities" are a conspiracy to lock people in their area forever

And a few more I can't immediately think of. About the only thing I didn't see him tweet about (by checking his account for only a few minutes!!) was "flat earth", but I wouldn't be surprised if he was a flat earther too. 🤣

They not usually have the wee bible-basher emoji in their profile?

Not a bad performance but we gave away far too many daft free kicks. A win helps Scotland's coefficient but it should have been far more convincing. Reckon we'll need to score next week.

I'm sure we are all united in wishing SeetheCo  all the best is Zurich as we really do need a good boost in the coefficients in the lower leagues.

No one's asking you to go back in a box, but to stop howling to the moon about an issue that was settled in 2014.  Scots just can't be bothered with it anymore.

Unsurprising to see you're motivated by anti-orange bigotry though, just like many other Scots Nationalists although not all.

Orangeism is a stain on Scotland. A racist bigoted soup pot of perma raging obnoxious obese gammon statue defending nae mate losers in life holding up traffic(stopping ambulances getting through) while dressing up as toy soldiers and playing instruments out of time and tune.. More to be pitied than hated. Suppose they do their bit for the everyone else's self esteem. So I applaud them for that.

This is a chance for the people of Rutherglen and Hamilton West to bin the SNP and start moving forward as a country.  Let's get back to normal.

This constant independence chat is holding us back and people are sick of it.

This sort of back to normal, moving forward?  I can't just say ok games a bogey let's get back in our box. Scotland elected independence supporting parties who had a democratic mandate for a 2nd referendum and were denied it by the UK government. Even daft yoons must see that this isn't an acceptable outcome to the indy debate. All this pish about once in a generation is manufactured whatabouterry. The people spoke and were denied a voice and the Tories, Libs and Labour are all nothing but democracy denying flag shagging britnats.

It's Leo McKinstry, no surprise there..

The barrage of aggression and intimidation is relentless.

A vicious mood of witch-hunting has gripped this political culture, filled with accusations of racism, bigotry, transphobia, prejudice and homophobia against anyone who dares to challenge the fashionable dogma.

From campaigners who portray themselves as more considerate, more decent than anyone else, the sheer viciousness is extraordinary.

He seems to like to dish it out but gets all precious when the shoes on the other foot.

So how are we all going to die from this? What exactly is climate change going to cause that will lead to Armageddon?

Climate change won't result in the second coming of the lord. I never suggested it would.

That's been horrific for that guy throughout this, I saw that he couldn't get out early because he never apologised or showed contrition.   I'd have probably lied and faked an apology/contrition just to get out, the guy is extremely strong willed.

He said in an interview he couldn't fake guilt as it wasn't just a case of admitting something he didn't do it meant he was going to have to do all these group therapy sessions and lie that he was a deviant along with genuine wrong 'uns. He was also scathing of the appeal board trying to take some glory from the outcome as they were blanking him until the evidence of wrongful conviction was handed to them on a plate by @we_are_APPEAL

Dry warm weather means wildfires spread out of control easily. Nothing new there. Australia has had these problems for years. Not unlikely to happen in Greece since it is hot and dry. People need to be more cautious with what they do with fire in these places or not deliberately start a fire. That’s the main lesson to take from it. Learn that lesson before spreading all this apocalyptic nonsense.

Here's a wee group of conspiracy crackpots called NASA dishing out all sorts of scientific evidence on climate change. Don't worry though TrumpPatriotboy88@nopronounsexceptgammon 🙏🙏🇺🇸🇬🇧🇮🇱🙏🙏:gunssays differently.       https://climate.nasa.gov/

Dry and hot weather, that’s really unusual in southern Europe in July.

Did you read the article? It's talking about the drought and  record breaking temperatures(caused by climate change) happening in spring leading to the conditions  being perfect for the spread of wildfires in the summer

  10. 1 hour ago, Balde Bairn said:

What do we think of the BBC reporting falsely that the fires in south Europe are a result of “global warming” when in actual fact it was arsonists? They seem to keep quiet about that. Also lied about the temperature, took it from the ground where it is always warmer. Turns out temperatures in southern Europe really aren’t extraordinary at all.

It's not about what starts the fires(the vast majority are caused by negligence by humans) it's the conditions caused by the dry hot weather (climate change)and de-population of rural areas which is leading to the higher spread of the wildfires.

This is an article from last year describing the problem.  https://www.indiatoday.in/world/story/wildfires-europe-what-is-behind-them-explained-1978961-2022-07-23

  11. I watch a lot of these police interrogations from the states on youtube, it's weird how they seem to be so forthright and open with the guys doing the interviews. Maybe it's only showing the idiots that think they can outsmart the police because on the Ch4  24hr in police custody every suspect just says "no comment." I was told they are more willing to take on the accusations because remand can take as long as 5 years waiting on the case to get processed in the US. Anyone know if this is true?

This is specifically for serial killers and even then a sizeable 30% reported no abuse at all.

Some can report abuse that didn't happen as they will get a thrill out of describing all kinds of horrific abuse and imagining it and fantasising about it.

Also some wouldn't want to admit to be abused being all macho and such.

While it happens it's not all the time, some people just have a screw loose.

I think there are right evil b*****ds, but I think very few and far between. I think most can be put down to learned behaviour or psychological problems from narcissism, sociapathic to psychopathic traits.serial-killer-abuse-graph.png.3eda0fad08573c075a75ce893c0766c2.png

  14. It's usually we'll naw kill all bad guys just the BAD ones, so we always get a sliding scale. Usually killing a polis = certain execution , what if you killed an animal like Wayne Couzens? Also I believe most of these mad paedo child killers are psychologically fucked in the head and are genuinely sick through horrendous abusive upbringings.  I think rotting in jail is punishment enough and you see the way these constant appeals in America for death row prisoners drag on and on I doubt the death sentence would be financially beneficial.  You'd also have the right wing press finding some excuse to hang brown folk from non-christian countries for rustling sweetie wrappers in the cinema or some other shite.

  15. I'm still hopeful someone will stand up in the SNP and say f**k this for a game of soldiers, get the gloves off and start pushing for Independence by calling all them comfy MPs home from Westminster like Sinn Fein or basically disrupting parliament as a collective every time an untruth gets uttered . Also have a strategy to call out the media over every lie. Keith Brown was meant to do it but seemed to run out of steam after about 2 tweets.

Even on the uniform swing implied by the Uxbridge result, Labour would gain over 100 seats and be the largest party (20 seats short of an outright win). Given the ULEZ effect clearly impacted the result here, it doesn’t take a genius to suggest that the actual national swing to Labour will be more than this result and Starmer will get his majority.

Sunak’s only chance IMO is to run it right down to the end of 2024 or even January 2025 and hope that the cost of living crisis is in a much better state and NHS waiting lists are down.

Even at that I think the UK is fed up with the Tories and ready to give the other guy a chance much in the same way that the 2010 election result was largely seen as the country being ready to move on from new Labour more so than loving David Cameron.

It will be down to whether the tories at Auntie Beeb and the print media are ready to accept Starmers b*****dised version of Labour or stick to their Bozo backstabbing fascist front bench mates. I'm sure they will be holding a few bacon roll photos just in case they don't like the cut of his jib.
