  1. My question wasn't about a group of fans it was about the one person who was said to have stolen a scarf, and who apparently was identifiable.
  2. As far as I know theft - of a scarf or anything else - is a crime so why shouldn't the perpetrators get arrested? It's nothing to do with empathy.
  3. How can anything be slower than Shergar? It's deid.
  4. Really? No fans of lower division SPFL clubs have contempt for those coming up from below.
  5. Well, no. Since they can be relegated and the "progressive" teams in the lower league can get promoted.
  6. Outstanding? Maybe not. But in the absence of a licenced WoSL champion for them to play against there'll be nothing to say they are, as you imply, worse. Get back to me when a WoSL team actually reaches the Lowland League.
  7. Can I just point out that none of this has been voted on at any level - HL or LL or SPFL. How you can say this is all about the self preservation of Tier 4 clubs is beyond me. Any clubs in Tiers 4 or 5 voting for this to happen would be utterly crazy. None of the fans at Tier 4 want anything to do with B teams or a half-arsed conference with B teams in it.
  8. Can I get back to you on this after Saturday's game? Thing is, so are we.
  9. My brother lived for a while in Dalbeattie (well before Lowland League days) and he went along once to watch them. He described the football as 'agricultural'. That was many moons ago though.
  10. That was a very different St Cuthberts team from the one the season before though.
  11. Oh great. Food poisoning on top of everything else.
  12. They applied though. If other teams had also done so they might have got in too. Or not.
  13. I guess we're unlikley to lose all our six remaining games but as it stands if we do, Annan would only need ten points from 15, likewise Forfar (plus a goal swing.) E Fife would need 11 and a swing. Stenny would need 12 and the swing. What might allow us to slip in is that they play amongst themselves on the last day and all four of them still have Stirling to play. So maybe.
  14. No. It started earlier than that when he booked Greg Buchanan for a nothing challenge. And from where I was (admittedly further than the Stirling fans at the south end of their stand) the wee ginger one (Finlay Gray) seemed to have been fouled. I note that one Binos fan on here thought it was a foul - and therefore a penalty, though I thought it was actually outside the box.
