  1. What about that whole year we went without winning? Well before McCabe's time.
  2. It can always all swing inside a minute (or two.)
  3. Doesn't he play for a draw in every game?
  4. Let's hope E Fife are so raging that they're right up for it.
  5. I can't remember ever seeing a striker whose shot is as weak as Jones's is.
  6. Worst game I ever saw. A goal on average every nine minutes? That's not football. (It's certainly not Duffy football.)
  7. Fair enough, we've beaten Clyde (twice) and E Fife (once) but not Forfar or Peterhead. I suppose six points would do it. But I can't see six points.
  8. That's a different angle. The shadow is clearly being cast from a source in front of the goal therefore making the previous photo even more conclusive in that respect. In any case, here the ball itself doesn't look completely over the line. The earlier video is more conclusive that it did.. There's no way the linesman could award it anyway given the Thistle subs etc standing in his way. Not that it mattters now.
  9. Not from this angle. You can't tell if it's over or not. To me it looks more of the ball is on the pitch side rather than the the goal side of the line.
  10. Absolutely. The game is football. Always has been. Always will be.
  11. If he's such a supporter of the pyramid then he shouldn't object to teams fulfillling the entry criteria for a pyramid league being admitted to that league. Short travelling distance is not one of those criteria.
  12. Why is Feargal Sharkey wearing a Sons goalkeeping top?
  13. Given the angle caused by the camera it looks as if not all of the ball has crossed the line. The bit that hit the ground , yes, but not the whole ball.
  14. I said he hadn't made up for the error and that the four point swing could relegate us. Yes the manager's decisions and the rest of the team are responsible for where we are. But that mistake was crucial in terms of the relative positions of the two teams on the day (and probably for the confidence of both sides going in to the games immediately after.)
  15. I wasn't saying he was solely responsible. Only that his error caused a four point swing. And he hasn't made up for it yet, though arguably he regained us one of those points against Falkirk. In that context, however, the game vs Aberdeen is irrelevant.
  16. Of course. But that was the most important game for us in the whole restart. We desperately needed not to lose it. How much encouragement did Forfar derive from their three points against us? And if it hadn't been for that mistake we would be above Clyde on goal difference. Mind you we can't score. Will five nil-nils do us?
  17. No he hasn't. That four point swing could be what relegates us.
  18. It's just getting bodies in for the sake of getting bodies in.
