48 seater bus running to kilwinning leaving junction bar at 12pm, price is £10 a seat. Hope to see it full and give the team a strong support. Message me on this or the clubs/junctions facebook page for a seat.

    Game still on?

Absolute must win at the weekend, or dare I say it, the season is in danger of fizzling out to some extent.

I personally believe that losing those injury time equalisers in 3 games has had a bit of an effect on the psyche.  If we’d been sitting on 19 points at the moment instead of 13 it would seem so much better, we’d all feel a lot more positive.

I know there will be things going on that the fans don’t see and we have had terrible luck with injuries, but as fans what we see on the park is all we can really go on.

It's a real shame, just when fans missing for a while were starting to come back.

Aye it was a flat performance still better than most of the games last season mind you, always felt it was going to be hard today Colts have been going well.

Hopefully bounce back at Gretna next week.

Disappointed but to be fair we were beaten by the better team. Not a dirty game but the referee must have booked almost every player. We aren't the team we were at the start of the season and I   now shut my eyes when the opposition get a corner. Pity McPherson wasn't on from the start.

Cumbernauld Colts are doing exceptionally well in the Lowland League this season. So I’m expecting a really tough game on Saturday. Hoping for a good result and performance.

Albion Rovers and Stirling Uni looked pretty good too.

The chants of Junior from what I heard and saw was due to the antics that you would have traditionally saw in a junior football game (e.g. surrounding the ref, demanding bookings and antics from the bench.)

This had nothing to do with status etc.

    Doubt if he'll understand that.

Normally enjoy reading your posts on Cowdenbeath, but that's an absolutely awful take.

Folk getting excited. Just shows what can occur when one individual spouts a lot of dross. Nothing happened. Better still go to a game with a bigger crowd. Then you really will get upset at the nasty stuff you'll hear.

One of the very few things I enjoyed about visiting Central Park yesterday was all the 'Juniors' shouts, bearing in mind the teams play in the same league.

Not sure what you mean about not seeing them again? You'll see them at least twice again this season?

Without significant investment, Cowden will never return to league football, so you better get used to watching these 'Junior' teams...

I won't see them again because I won't go. So keep your smarty comments to yourself. I've seen enough junior fitba. I don't need to see adults running around behaving like kids.

Yes they do , they even greet when you offend them by sending mostly under 20s to play them in a friendly neeb

They are still living in the "junior world" surrounding the ref after every decision.

Wanting players booked or sent off. Well that backfired yesterday. One of theirs sent off, goodness knows how many booked and two penalties against. Says it all. Look forward to not seeing them again.

Massive well done to the players management and staff. It's another tick in terms of progression. We haven't won a Scottish game since 2020.

The players dug deep and worked their socks off and it was a real "team" effort. Subs making impact and it shows the togetherness in the club.

That was a tough tough game and hopefully the draw can b kind today.

Any bad injuries? Sub keeper was good, his kicking best we've seen for a while.

    Well 👍 done.

I never heard anything like what has been mention but I heard some pish from self entitled Rose fans. Not got over not being a big fish in a small pond like the used to be in the junyurs.

The claim about the homophobic shouting seems to have only been heard by one sh**stirrer.

I heard plenty of abuse aimed at Cowden from greetin Rose fans as they left with their tails between their legs.

Well done on the win, could have went either way, it was a decent cup tie.

Usual banter between fans but the homophobic shouts at Rose players were disappointing and unacceptable.

    Good luck next round.

Homophobic? Do you know what that means?

I heard plenty of shouts at Rose players none were homophobic though.

Man, that’s a bit gloomy. I thought we competed very well, game should have been out of sight before the equaliser.

Actually thought the referee was ok, didn’t fall for any of their antics. The Linlithgow management/bench were an absolute embarrassment.

Agree about the ref and that doesn't happen often. We had so many chances to score second half. You just knew we were going to lose a goal. MacPherson made a big difference when he came on. Linlithgow's antics were awful.

Just hope that none of our players got any serious injuries.

Butterworth was immense today ran both full backs riot, new lad took his goals well but that motm award had butterworths name on it surely, tough frustrating game to watch as we controlled the ball but struggled when it came to that last pass. Job done thought thats the main thing hoping for a nice away day next round

Yes, Kilsyth had done their homework. Butterworth was up against two or three players every time he got the ball.

Awful game to watch first half and most of the second half. So many passes going astray when it looked like we were going to score. Still a wins a win but we'll need to play a bit better next week.

Some wildly eccentric decisions from the ref who looked like he had wandered  in for the stock car meeting, mostly in favour of Gala it has to be said. Walker's booking, the non booking of Gala no 23 and the non playing of the advantage the worst of many. I liked the Gala NO 9 , the centre backs were ok but the rest, not much quality though they battled all the way. A game we should have won. That was MaCnab's poorest game , and he was still pretty decent. These injuries though.

Agree about the Gala No9.Would take him in a heartbeat.

A lot of backtracking going on in here - from declaring yourselves the league winners over the last couple of weeks to one defeat and top half being good enough. I'm sorry, but with that budget, it's simply not.

    What is wrong with you?

    We’re Cowdenbeath 2023 not Brazil 1970.

We have lost one Lowland League game at home this season to a side second in the table.

For now. I would have backed  Cowden against  any team In this league at home.

Another big test tomorrow. Tranent have a good squad and will be tough opponents. The injury situation is annoying.

Every team will have injuries. We'll just have to get on with it. If we don't give away too many corners/set pieces (Craig Barr!) we should be OK.

Unless the players are lying I know what certain players are on. Usually they will inflate it tbf. However even then u have lads on over 200 quid a week fact.. quite a few actually. Also one player was on transfer list last season then 8 or so weeks later got an improved contract..🤣. Happy berwick posted the highlights and credit for that. Its good to see how shite uz are.

I would reckon east kilbride would be favourites mate with their significant budget and signings even more than berwicks. Thought u would b savvy enough to know that.

Also hope u apologise to a great player and lad in cammy Graham for calling him a jobber.

Finally our fan base is very much behind the club/management and players unlike some of our nemesis in the lowland league.

    Mon the cooo...

Why bother replying to that eejit.
