McDougall and Rankine might be tossers, but they're also hard nosed businessmen with friends throughout football. Thay're not doing this for a laugh. Hopefully the SFL expel them for refusing to fulfil their fixtures, but I can't see that happening. Gordon McDougall is no "tosser" However, why he got involved with Livi still is a mystery. He told me just before he sold Cowden that he was going to put his feet up after all the years of hard work at Central Park (and did he work hard!) I know nothing about the other chap.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to Airdrie and Cowden - they'll probably know much more about the situation than we do. Don't think any team would knock back the opportunity to go up a league. We only lost to Stenny on pens and their team doesn't look that different from last season. The way the third division teams played yesterday - the second might be a "softer" league anyway.

Don't think there are many on here gloating about Livingstone's demise. The players, employees and especially the genuine supporters have the sympathy of everyone I would hope. It's those officials who jump from club to club and "owners" who are cowboys and are going to ---- the game for everyone that upset people so much. And everyone shold be looking over their shoulder as this will continue to happen until our so-called league officials stop taking their free lunches and hit these people hard. If it's up to the SFL we'll still be posting about this at Christmas.

Maybe he wants to see Cowden promoted (just joking) It would be a bit difficult to bring a junior team into this debate. You are right the SFL will remain silent. They must be wetting themselves at the thought of making a decision. I still cannot believe that Gordon McDoog will be involved with this lot - if he is Livy will stay in the third division or if they have a good season, the second but they will never see the first again but at least they won't be in debt.
