He’s 29 if I’m not mistaken and still has much to offer if he can keep away from the off field activities that have seen him in bother. It’s a no brainier for me if we have the chance to get him then in footballing terms it would be a big signing for us.

I would definitely sign Stokes despite the obvious baggage that he would bring. He’s apparently impressing while training with us. Stubbs can maybe get him to screw the nut as it’s getting close to the last chance saloon for him in terms of clubs willing to take a chance on him.

I imagine there will be a few interested clubs looking to make an offer for Halkett. He would be a good replacement for Harry Davis.

Jordan had one or two chances to impress at the beginning of the season before going out on loan to you guys. He failed to impress on every outing, just didn’t happen for him under Jack. I would be shocked if Alan Stubbs keeps him.

I won’t be surprised to see Jordan Kirkpatrick coming back to Alloa either on loan or a permanent deal. He does have a year to run on his contract, but I can’t see him featuring at all for us.
