Traynor saying there has never been any doubt that liquidation would & should result in div. 3 but he's worried other clubs will keep them in. Am I imagining this?
Fk division 3 - there's a queue of clubs trying to join such as Cove Rangers. The Glasgow Amateur League can have the dodgers.

Noticed Andy Goram in the Sun today saying "Any other dressing room would be ripped apart by administration, they'd be fighting with each other..."
Aye Andy, that's exactly how it went with Dundee too. Still, the saga rolls on and it is pretty shocking to see that Rangers believe that their players, who can actively find new contracts with other clubs, are above the creditors who are waiting for money from Rangers. This whole saga only increases my contempt for their football club. Last season, Celtic were a joke with the referees, this season Rangers have taken the biscuit.
Just a thought, but the administrators haven't really being doing their job. Beavis'n'Buthead may be thinking 'we'll keep this running and make more money for our own company, then when the shit hits the fan in the summer with the HMRC case, we'll pick it up then clear off leaving Rangers in liquidation and ourselves in good money - much like Craig Whyte - just a thought people

As someone said (maybe even on here). It's all good mouthing off about 'Scottish football needs us' as this point in time when the shit has well and truly hit the fan. It wasn't so long ago, not even 2 years, that the attitude was 'fuck Scottish football, we're going to England, you shite are holding us back' and they were desperate to leave us bottom feeders behind.
But now that they are in total peril, they are all of a sudden regular Florence Nightingales, genuinely concerned about how Scottish football will cope without them? Do me a favour, you don't think that you are so fucking transparent that anyone with half a brain can't see through it?
Any journalist with a set of gonads would be quick to seize upon this fact, but they have to toe the party line, really. They have had such an easy ride through all of this and yet they genuinely think they are being given the sharp end of the stick by the press.
Agree totally. Bit of green. Is this thread the record number of greenies being passed out?

They might well breeze back but those 3 seasons would seem like an eternity and I for one would be fascinated to see what kind of crowds they get.
Like a bad tv show - it is car wreck stuff. Cannae stop paying attention to it.
Green one - from a Falkirk fan too, I'm even sorry your club has been shafted by THEM

Exactly what I was thinking....surely not even the admini
strators would be so daft as to place Rangers into liquidation on St. Paddy's.

I can remember waiting to get away from Hampden Park after the League Cup Final defeat to 9 man Rangers watching the Rangers fans leaving the stadium.
Had St. Mirren won it would have been the greatest day ever - what could ever, realistically, top beating Rangers at Hampden in a Cup Final? We know we will never win the league - so beating Rangers in a final was basically a lifetime event. Beating Dundee United in 1987 was good enough.... but beating one of the Old Firm - and in particular, Rangers - at Hampden in a cup final would be something that would last for ever - greatest ever day in the club's history.
If St. Mirren had won, the celebrations would have been uncontrollable. It would have been actual heaven. Greatest day ever. I would have been in floods of tears.
As I sat and watched the Rangers fans leaving, there weren't any celebrations. There was barely a smile on any of their faces. I met Rangers fan I knew leaving the ground and he was basically disinterested. Said he thought Rangers were lucky and that was it.
That win meant absolutely nothing to the Rangers support.
It would have meant absolutely everything to the St. Mirren support.
Old Firm fans will never understand what its like to support a diddy club.
Good post - The same thing happened in the Scottish Cup Final in 2009. Didn't want to hang around for them lifting the cup so left after applauding our players, only to see droves streaming out ahead of us in a rush to the station, even before the cup had been lifted. F'k em

Saving Private Ryan
One of the best, if not the best, war movies ever.
10/10
Too much Hollywood in that film I think, 7/10 for that. Now, as for Das Boot? That's a film that gets 10/10

Haven't been on this thread in a while, but that is a fucking class tune if I remember rightly.
Edit: Just listening to it on youtube just now, it is pretty shit-hot, and the video is quite similar to Eiffel 65's tune Blue.
