Brexit won't affect the implementation of GDPR. In order for us to do any kind of business with EU we will need to have a similar level of Data Protection to them so it makes sense to follow its requirements. The new UK Data Protection Bill, based on requirements of GDPR, is current going through Parliament and is expected to come into law soon. So even if/when we leave EU we will have a level of legislation similar to that in place within EU.

So, Hay, Fraser and McLaren gone. Not fussed by McLaren going, Fraser has scored goals for us in the past so he goes with my gratitude and Hay, I thought, had the potential to be a decent player but never seemed to get a decent run. Any news of incomers?

I would reckon Cavanagh, McLaren, Webby, Callaghan and CJ at least will be released. I'd like to see Ferguson stay on because I liked him when he was playing regularly, a real threat going forward, but he hasn't featured for a while so may be off too. I'd like to see Hay stay because there's potential there. Not sure about Fotheringham, seemed a bit trimmer towards the end of the season, but may not be up to playing at a higher level. Watson, sad to say, will probably be gone too. Seems to be a lack of players coming in so far. IMO better to get players signed up early doors, particularly when competing with 3 other Angus clubs at the same level. In Petrie We Trust.

He looked good in the first half of the last game of the season against us, but fell out of the game in the second half when we stepped it up a notch.

He is a right back. He was excellent for us the last season and a half. Great engine on him, decent defender and great at getting forward and creating chances/scoring goals. Definitely capable of playing at a higher level, hopefully with us if we can offer him a decent deal, but chances are he'll move on, probably to a full time club. Wouldn't grudge him that either as he has been brilliant for us.
