  1. Celtic Football Club

  2. Going to go to the St Pauli - Greuther Fürth game on 13 December before going down to Vienna for the Celtic game on the Thursday. Met a few Greuther Fürth last season as the St Pauli home clash with them coincided with the weekend of the Celtic Party. A fair wee number of them turned up for the party and had a great time so it should be another cracking day/night. Hopefully by the time the game comes round, St Pauli will be sitting top of the table. May also be tempted to go to the Sturm Graz-Galatasaray game on the Wednesday night before going to Vienna. Know some Galatasaray comrades from the Reeperbahn so will see if any of them are going to it or are tempted to go to it. Could be a belter!
  3. Went to the Hansa Rostock vs St Pauli game on Monday night. A fine victory for St Pauli but one of their players has just been banned for three matches after making a cut throat gesture to the Rostock fans after scoring. After the first goal, St Pauli fans fired flares into the Rostock area that was filled with Nazi boneheads. Game got stopped for a bit but then went ahead again. After the game we were kept behind for over an hour as Rostock fans battled with the police in an attempt to get at us. Over 25 polis ended up injured. Massive police escort for us back to our special trains. Meanwhile in Scotchland we have supporters crying about another set of supporters standing up at games.
  4. Confirmed that I am going to see St Pauli take on Rostock. Unbelievably, the game has been scheduled for 8.15pm on a Monday night. The reasoning being that they think less fans are likely to go or if they do, not participate in bother like the last two times, as many will have work the next day!! Imagine that reasoning being applied on these shores for such a volatile day. Public transport is out for the game due to the late kick-off, however St Pauli fans are running a special supporters train. It’s going to be some experience..........add to that the hsv days after and a trip to Vienna. Can hardly wait for them.
  5. The next batch of German fixtures have now been announced. Not surprisingly, St Pauli are away to Rostock-scum on a Monday night - the same week we are over there to play hsv. Will have a think about it, but at the moment I am for going to the Rostock-scum game. Fly back Tuesday, then back over two days later.
  6. I have been invited over to Tel-Aviv by a Hapoel comrade to take in their derby against Maccabi. Far too much on this year to manage but may next year for the away game.
  7. Oh you dull cretin; you bigotted twat. Froth froth froth, rage rage rage
  8. If you find me dull it is quite simple to ignore me. Rather of course, you'd rather ruin a thread by getting into a personal slanging match. Grow up.
  9. Not someone Scottish rather Andy Murrayl. FYI, after each Grand Slam I will come on and make the same comment. I hope one day I am proved wrong but I doubt it.
  10. Let me repeat again - Andy Murray - Scotland's tennis equivalent of Colin Montgomerie.
  11. I must admit, I was seriously shocked that Andy Murray failed to win Wimbledon. Still, like Colin Montgomerie, he’s sure to win one of the biggies one day
  12. I am confident that my prediction of Andy Murray being the tennis equivalent of Colin Montgomerie will continue to be proved right after Wimbledon.
  13. I will be going to FC St Pauli vs Hansa Rostock-scum in a fortnight or so. The trouble at the games between the sides earlier on in the season has led this game to be treated as a high-risk with special security measures having to be put in place.
  14. Well it's not a random match per se, but I will be at the FC St Pauli - Greuther Fürth game on Sunday. Well the plan is to go there. I will probably be in no fit state and will struggle to make it but I'll be trying my best.
