I'm currently reading Too Much Too Young, by Daniel Rachel. A well written and well researched history of the 2-Tone record label. It helps that I'm a fan of the music, but I am really enjoying this. Plenty of social history in there as well.

I still refer to Greenock Morton as Morton.

There's not much happening in Dundee so far this year. I've got tickets for Gallus in March, Lottery Winners in April and Acid Mothers Temple in May. Aside from that there's nothing really interesting.

That's true. I know so many people with that sort of inverted snobbery towards food. They'd rather go to some chain restaurant in a retail park than to an independent place that does fine dining.

Vegetarian haggis has been mentioned. I bought one by accident a while back. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was.

A cajun chicken roll with red onion and peppers. A packet of Walker's salt 'n' vinegar, a jam doughnut and a cappuccino.

Overrated, Italian cuisine. I've never had anything from an Italian restaurant that was significantly better than I could make myself with some dried pasta and a jar of Newman's Own Underrated, Central and Eastern European cuisine. I just love stuff like Goulash and Bigos.

I'd vote for Rod Stewart, but I'm not sure If he's in the real or fictional category.

Escape from New York is set in 1997. I'm disappointed that it turned out to be untrue.

Months are great. The moon orbits the earth and women complete their menstrual cycle. Days, weeks and years are shite by comparison.

I predict that it'll be in joint 18th place, along with Topless Darts and Jo Guest in Jamaica.

Booked up to see Oh What a Lovely War at Dundee Rep in a few weeks. Looks promising...

Just booked up for 4 nights in March. I've already looked into trips to the salt mine snd Auschwitz. I just plan on spending the rest of the time wandering around and visiting pubs and cafes.
