  1. Can't see anyone out with the OF having the funds to prize him away tbh. I believe one of Hearts or Aberdeen offered him a PCA last season before he signed a new deal with us so they can look all they like.
  2. Alas not. They've been given the same allocation they always get, unfortunately. We just sometimes sell a portion of them ourselves to ensure Celtic fans aren't trying to purchase tickets in the Dundee end. We've did this a few times when Celtic are in more, shall we say, 'jubliant' moods.
  3. Vaughan and Hamilton are good lower end top flight strikers IMO (and Vaughan could have been so much more if not for injuries). Rudden is a middling Championship striker. Hopefully you keep him.
  4. Courier saying we're to offer Bakayoko a permanent deal.
  5. I'd have Baka on all day before Main, personally.
  6. It's often mentioned that Dundee United have a better head to head record against us due to the fact that we never really played them during our glory years and it was only as they had Jerry Kerr and Jim McLean tearing it up that we started playing each other more. They must have spent a significant amount of time in the lower tiers up until say the 70s?
  7. Reminds me of a moment at Dens on Wednesday. One, clearly fairweather fan sitting near me, pondered why the Dundee fans were booing the Rangers fans singing 'Rule Britannia' as, 'we are all British here!'
  8. That defending was fucking abysmal. Dessers sent Atkinson for a half time pie. Fucking hell.
  9. If Hearts win today, is it enough for there to be question marks over the bald frauds future?
  10. I absolutely approve but is there a specific reason for Clark being dropped for Gordon or just giving Gordon some game time?
  11. Is Walton top flight good? Never really seen him be tested on the TV games. Usually had nothing to do or conceded a goal that he could do nothing about. Who do you lads think Goodwin is going to keep going into next season?
  12. Eric Nicholson is the biggest fucking roaster employed by DC Thomson's and that's some going considering they give Jim Spence free space to rant about nonsense.
  13. I've heard wee rumours, nothing concrete, but decent things that we've already did a lot of business for next season in terms of extending contracts and signing players on PCAs. Not heard any names but rumours are abound.
  14. This Twitter exchange on both sides but particularly the United fans thinking it's a brilliant comeback from Tony Watt.
  15. We've apparently been using Burnley's supercomputer data stuff (f**k knows) which is apparently lightyears ahead of the stuff any club uses in Scotland. It does help that we have the likes of Lee Ashcroft, Joe Shaughnessy, Ricki Lamie, Amadou Bakayoko, Curtis Main and Aaron Donnelly all being big b*****ds and Luke McCowan, Lyall Cameron, Owen Beck and even the likes of our poorer players like Owen Dodgson able to take an absolutely brilliant set piece delivery.
  16. I don't mind the £60k part tbf. That's fair. It's the suspended aspect and the criteria round it and the television costs.
  17. I can't really see that standing up in court. The £120k is payable if we have a single postponement due to a waterlogged pitch next season - even if we sort our pitch - that's just laughable. As for the television costs of £36,429.60, that can get in the bin. It's no surprise to see we're pursuing legal advice.
  18. His last two football related articles are entitled: 'Haste ye back, Dundee United' - after we relegated them in 2016. And: 'We can't let them sacrifice Dundee FC for a vanity project stadium that no-one wants.' - Despite the fact our stadium is crumbling! He then spends his time writing articles about green space, rewilding and reintroducing wildlife. My guess is he's absolutely seething about our plans to have a stadium at Camperdown which will take up some of the green space. He's absolutely at it and that article is unbelievably moronic, misinformed and just straight up inherently bias.
  19. Would you accept less than £500k for Armstrong? Has to be said, I wouldn't have been devastated if we'd released McCowan last season - he had about 1 good game in 6 previously. Since he's been converted to a central role instead of a winger, he's been sublime. I don't think we'd get 500k for him tbh and can easily see him extending his deal with us.
  20. Nah, just blatantly making things up about shots being cleared off the line, the pitch being bumpy and not our fault because Dundee 'marked us all over the pitch even when we went to the toilet' will be doing absolutely nothing for even the most naive of players or fans. It was just deluded and further allowed comparisons to the minter times of the Pedro era. Pre-match he was on about how he'd play the game on Mars, that it was our pitch' fault that led to them not being suitably prepared for Ross County and he needed a strong press conference post-match after storming down the tunnel in a fit of rage and not shaking the County managers' hand. Post match interviews don't mean much, but they absolutely can help rip your credibility to shreds and he's been on a one man mission (mainly to Mars) to do that over the past 7 or so days.
