  1. I think because the Juninho EBT appears to have been a pay off to get rid of him early rather than a consistent source of income the football authorities will struggle to show it as a 2nd contract. I've read that the payments were disclosed to the SFA - if this is the case then I think we should be okay. If this isn't the case, and the SFA deem that we have to lose the Scottish Cup, as well as the all points gained from the games he played in that season then so be it, I'm sure we'll take our medicine and continue to operate in a responsible manner.
  2. The key point though, is that Celtic set up this ebt in April 2005, the same month he left the club and months after he played his last game for the club. Celtic were open and honest about this and came to a settlement with HMRC. As a club we held our hands up, paid for our mistake and never repeated it. In total contrast to our rivals across the city.
  3. If Whyte refuses to pay the fine Rangers will have to pay that as well according to SFA Rule 97.2. Looks like that may just happen after Whyte said "Tell me how it is going to affect me? I couldn't care less. It makes no difference to my life whatsoever - and good luck collecting the money.". What a man. I really didn't think I could admire him any more but he just keeps going up in my estimations.
  4. If Naismith can comeback from his injury then he would be a worthy addition to the squad...McGregor is better than Zaluska but given the form Forster is in I honestly don't think he'd be our first choice. Although given how much we detest both of them and how much they detest us, I think it's fair to say it's unlikely we will consider either of them. Papac is a shout - he's probably the least hated out of all of them but the only problem is he's shite.
  5. If Celtic voted yes after our Chief Executive and Manager confirmed we don't need Rangers, I think it would be enough to make many of us choke on our jelly and ice cream... I don't know a lot about Bankier and some of the other directors, it wouldn't surprise me if some of them wanted to help a new Rangers back into the SPL but I would hope that fear over the backlash they'd get from our fanbase would put them off.
  6. Never mind HawHaw..He thinks himself the chief Rabble Rouser

  8. Welcome to the site TB67

  9. Hey lads and ladies, my names Tommy, I'm from Lanarkshire and I'm a Celtic fan. I was recommended to this forum by a couple Celtic fans called Danny1888 and Pepleo. I also post on the biggest Celtic site on the net under this name so a few people might recognise me from their. Looks a good forum and I look forward to start posting.
