  1. Check the obvious though like brightness settings, but I would take a pop at the inverter inside the screen has gone. By all means try and external monitor that will prove its your screen.
  2. Depending on what connections your laptop and TV support, you would only require a suitable cable, then select the appropriate AV channel using your TV remote.
  3. The Hangover - 8.5/10 Well worth the watch and a really funny film. Not laughed so much in ages. Mike Tyson makes an appearance.
  4. He must think he owns the town as well. Somebody tell him ffs.
  5. Yep, your correct. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ton/8052525.stm
  6. OK, so I have been running for the past few weeks and have slowly built up to 5.2 miles (best time approx. 44 mins) and eating abit healthier as well. I am really enjoying it at the moment and have already been out when its been pissing down. So I suppose I have no excuses now! Although the wife does work shifts, so I cant just nip out as I have 2 kids. Anyhow, I bought a pair of Nike Air Span+ 6 running shoes on Friday and I have to say, what a difference when you have a decent pair of trainers! I was using a £5 pair from tescos before! Mapmyrun is an excellent site for mapping out a run beforehand, but I am sure there is other sites that do the same. Im not really sure how far I want to take this, but like I said, Im enjoying it atm so long may it continue. On the point of Nike+, when I was buying my trainers on Friday, the woman in the shop said that the Nike+ sportsband (only if you dont have an ipod nano) is to be re-released at the end of this month hopefully. The first version apparently wasnt that accurate. Something I will probably get in the future.
  7. Name: Slumdog Millionaire Rating. 5/10 Comment. The burd in it keeps it worth watching thats about it. Its meant to be the "feelgood film of the year," Maybe I watched the wrong one!
  8. DOH! You had to guess the name of the film.....well thats my excuse anyway! And you were wrong, its called "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas"
  9. Got to say, a really good film and one that I would recommend. Young Bruno lives a wealthy lifestyle in Pre-war Germany along with his mother, elder sister, and army Commandant father. The family re-locate to the countryside where his father is assigned to commandeer a prison camp. A few days later, Bruno befriends another youth, strangely dressed in striped pajamas, named Leon, whose father works for Bruno's family. Bruno will soon find out that he is not permitted to befriend his new friend as he is a Jew, and that the neighboring yard is actually a prison camp for Jews awaiting extermination. A sad ending and Im sure I wont be the only one sat who sits for about 2 minutes after the film finished thinking about how horrifying the holocaust must have been.
