  1. Guys, the morton stream on their website failed at the first attempt so as an emergency solution it is being streamed on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7hTCoxoXrc
  2. I presume because of the shambles It is being streamed on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7hTCoxoXrc
  3. I don’t watch Scottish Premier League at all but the general consensus in England is that the quality of play has improved with no fans. I would agree on purely that front but it would still be way better with the crowds back.
  4. I believe one of the main reasons we went with 3 is because it means only 3 subs in the playoffs. 5 would be an advantage (presumably,) for the premiership club.
  5. Its not too surprising that the PPV uptake is high so far in the premier league. I think most people's concerns are that the novelty will wear off and those numbers won't be maintained...
  6. Yeah it’s not been a bad game. I guess in a friendly the performance matters way more than the result and it’s been decent. I presume the camera is automatic? No cameraman?. It’s not great but about right for a fiver I would say. Only two players that have stood out for me would be Obileye and right back
  7. Yeah I saw a couple of people have. Interested to know if theres any more. It will be interesting to see just how good/bad the pixellot thing is. Does anyone know kickoff time? 1.30PM?
  8. Also strong rumours that English National League North and South will be cancelling the season...
  9. Without turning this into too much of a political discussion; I understand it seems silly to allow people to go to the football when they can’t visit other homes, even family. But using the same logic, it’s not just silly, but crazy to think that it’s safer for people to watch football in pubs (even if at tables only,) than at the outdoor socially distanced stadium. I don’t think things will change, in fact we’re probably heading for full lockdown, but there is a very strong argument for small numbers socially distanced in grounds being one of the safer things to do currently. If we keep the hospitality industry open to save their economy, why not football’s?!
  10. Anyone else signed up for the Airdrie game? Are they using this pixel lot thing that everyone complains about?
  11. Which team do you support? What area do you live? This doesn’t match my experience at all. I have used Falkirk, Dunfermline, Dundee United, St Mirren streams many times from literally all four corners of the globe. I have used the other streams provided by other clubs in Scotland on the odd occasion that QOS played them. I never encountered an issue at all except for one occasion when pars tv had a nightmare and refunded everybody. Ifollow has also been reliable every time I used it. They have even worked in some serious third world countries which I was very surprised about.
  12. Looking at the signings and contracts being offered by some clubs I think it’s entirely possible! Let’s face it, we don’t have a great financial planning record in Scottish football generally!
  13. I have been reliably informed they’re going for £9.99
  14. Yeah I signed up as well. I haven’t watched a friendly for over 10 years but I’ve missed the south so much! Tbf I will expect everything from commentary to camera to be appalling and if it’s any better I’ll be happy. Lol I’ll have to check those Stranraer guys.
  15. Both very nice, I think I’ll buy both. Is there any kit for toddlers this season?!
  16. Over the last few years I’ve enjoyed plenty of ‘super saturdays’ in my living room when mates come round. We put Queens on one tv and put whatever big match is on the other. Actually quite fun. And on at least a few occasions we changed the QOS match to the big tv with the sound because even Premier League matches can be shite sometimes. And I personally cannot stand La Liga.
  17. You’ve definitely got a point and there will be others that agree. But I think there are plenty of fans like me who will enjoy the streams this season. If I was only interested in quality of football I wouldn’t support a team and just go watch Liverpool instead. Queens mean something to me so the match also means more as a result. I sometimes pay to watch Brentford on ifollow because I used to support them at uni. I always pay to watch Queens on the various online platforms that have been around for years, (Dunfermline/Raith etc.) Plenty of people talk about the negatives and there will be many. But there are some positives to watching your local team from your armchair as well. Grab a beer, avoid the horrendous weather, see the game from a better or at least different perspective, international/England based fans can watch every game for the first time ever. This won’t be a revolution, going to the match will always be better at this level, but it might not be that bad!
  18. The biggest concern appRently is not the stadium itself but everything associated with going to it. The travel, pub etc.
  19. Nicola has just said that the new restrictions coming in could last for six months. There is no way fans will be allowed in stadiums when people can’t even meet another household indoors. On the optimistic side the restrictions will still be reviewed every three weeks.
