Was at the Big Swally beer festival in Dunfermline a couple of weeks ago. Was pretty good, with the Vault City carrot cake beer being the best of the day (an absolute delight, thick and tasty!). Got the Dundee Brew Fest one 8th of June. Went to this last year and was easily the best I've ever attended (limited field admittedly). Helps that I had a sensational pheasant burger and won some beer! Got the Epicure Craft Beer festival in Perth on 29th June. Never been so looking forward to it. Anyone else going to these or others?

Anyway, to be Lance Storm for a minute, Arbroath and Queen's Park have shown that you need to take your chance when you have it. Raith didn't do so this season. They won't necessarily sink next season (for all we know they could win the league!) but the lessons of the recent past are stark (pun not intended). Also I wouldn't be surprised to see Dundee United poach a couple of Raith players, and I'm pretty sure Premiership teams will be courting a couple.

I was the same until a couple of years ago. Never swore around my parents (still don't swear much around my dad save the occasional word) and it was a shock to hear either of them swearing when me and my brothers were kids. Even when we became adults my parents rarely swore around us. Old man drops a few more these days but not loads and only a couple of them.
