I played on the 7s one on Saturday morning and not only is part of the pitch on a slope but at various sections the black rubber shite is ankle deep. Ludicrous.

Travelling home from Tenerife's 24 degree heat today to the prospect of a 10am kick off in baltic and doubtless pissing wet Newton Mearns tomorrow. Not pleasing, especially after a week of smoking, eating and drinking enough to knock 5 years off my life span.

I think I've been up for around 48 hours once too, maybe a bit longer, but always ended up shattered. Holding up well today, but can't wait for the Champions League to finish and finally go to bed.
Totalled about 18 hours sleep in 8 days in ibiza the other year. I'll leave you to guess the reasons why that was, but my body basically shut down when I got home and I had an awful nightmare/fear type sleep for about a day and a half solid. Would recommend.

I cracked out the slow cooker last night for the first time in ages for a tasty beef curry.
1 diced onion
1peeled and chopped medium tattie
250g diced beef
Tin of chopped tomatoes
2tbsp garam masala paste
2tbsp curry powder
Dod of garlic
Brown the beef, chuck in with rest of ingredients and stir. Cooked on high for 3 or 4 hours and it was cracking, enough for dinner tonight and tomorrow.
