  1. I’ve pulled together the same for Wednesday. I’ll send it over to you later this morning. I’ll have a look at Thursday later on tonight and then Friday tomorrow night. I’m buzzing for the festival. Gutted I won’t be there, but hopefully next year!
  2. Supreme - Appreciate It (got it on various doubles) Arkle - Shishkin (won’t be betting in this race with it being such a short price) Ultima - Milan Native 15/2 Champion Hurdle - I backed Goshen straight after he won at Wincanton (8/1) but Honeysuckle is going to be tough to beat with the allowance. Mare’s Hurdle - Concertista (various doubles) Fred Winter - I’ve taken Rivière D’etel to win at 12/1 but I really like the look of Homme Public which I have taken EW at 16/1. NH Challenge - Remastered 8/1.
  3. Had a fantastic 6/7 week period, but he offered little outside that. To say he has been poor is an understatement since he returned. Fair play to the lad for getting the Rangers contract, as I suspect his next permanent move will be Championship.
  4. I’ve hardly shown much interest this season and couldn’t quite get excited about it. That being said, the shambles of a position we have found ourselves in at the moment is giving it far more of an edge than expected. Anything but confident for tonight and it is a must not lose for us. We really need to get quality in over quantity this window (easier said than done) or we are in the shit. Lose tonight and the 12/1 on us to finish bottom won’t be available!
  5. Seems the type of signing that we would make if it was numbers that we need, rather than an improvement in quality. Underwhelming!
  6. Jordan White heading to County would be excellent. Gets him out the door (even if it is on loan) and if that is the standard of player that County are hoping to save them, then it can only be a good thing for us!
  7. Yeah, the texture is horrible. Tried to force it down as it was made for me whilst I was living in Bangalore. Managed about half a dozen spoonfuls and had to pretend I had already had a big lunch!
  8. I’m sure he can be quite tactical with a reason not to play to avoid losing any income.
  9. This is a bit of a nightmare scenario for us with Gallagher. 1. He refuses to play to avoid triggering the contract and we are left with a high earner in the stands when we are up to our neck in the shit. 2. We punt him in January for a nominal fee and we bring in a replacement (unlikely to be to the same standard as Gallagher). 3. We agree to allow him to leave in the summer and not trigger the extension. I’m probably in the option 3 position. Whilst we are a club that relies on transfer income, having him available and focused between now and the end of the season is key. Having him sitting in the stands refusing to play is a nightmare scenario for everyone. Don’t think there is any solution that is perfect for us!
  10. I watched him play for Bengaluru when I was living out there. He was deemed one of their star players, but was rank rotten.
  11. Can anyone tell me what is going on with the seats directly behind the goal?

Booked to go at the end of October with the wife (C19 may mean it doesn’t happen). Couple of questions: - Getting from the airport to the city centre. Train the best option? I would just get a taxi but we have a good few hours to kill before we can check in to our hotel. Planing on Uber back to the hotel for the early flight home. - Any tour company recommended for Autchwitz? Seen plenty online, but always like to book via someone recommended. - Anything in particular in and around the city that you would say is a must do? - Places to eat and drink would be good. Generally just go with TripAdvisor but good to hear from others on here.
  13. Not playing Turnbull isn’t even on the table. If he is fit then he starts. By far our most talented player! First name in the side.
  14. Went with Fiddlerontheroof in the opener. Fakir D’Oudairies for the Arkle and Espoir De Guye in the NT. I’m heading down Thurs and Fri and cannae wait!
  15. I read that 25/02 was pencilled in if the replay fails an inspection. I would say it is unlikely it will go ahead with the current weather and forecast.
  16. He took them to the play off finals but lost the final. I'm sure he also took them up to the Premiership in his first stint. We have moved on a lot since McCall was with us.
  17. For a 0-0, it wasn’t the worst match. Thought we completely controlled the first half, but unsure how much that was down to Hibs offering very little. Thought the second was fairly even, but it would have been robbery if Hibs had sneaked the win with the chance that hit the post. We were always going to struggle in the final third with the line up, but thought they are all done well enough. Gallagher is outstanding at the back and been one of the best signing we have made from another Scottish club in the last 20+ years. Find the comment from a Hibs fan that we are hammer throwers quite amusing. Very much role reversal going on yesterday’s match, with a number of Hibs players picking up bookings (or lucky not to pick up bookings!) due to throwing elbows about! Happy enough with the point and hope St Mirren do us as a favour today.
  18. Decided to bite the bullet and get it booked for December 2020. Got a fairly decent deal on the flights. £300 each, with direct from Edinburgh to JFK on Sunday 29th Nov and returning JFK (via Heathrow) to Edinburgh on Thurs 3rd December. Hotel, I went for the same place as last time (Hudson close to the South West corner of Central Park), but had to bite the bullet and pay £900 for that (4 nights). I stayed in this hotel last time and it was perfectly situated for subway and plenty to do around it. Fairly pleased with the cost, considering the time of year.
  19. Reading that St Mirren and Aberdeen are after Matty Kennedy from St Johnstone on a pre contract. Would be surprised if this isn’t one that we are also sounding out. Couldn’t compete with a serious Aberdeen offer, but we could be an appealing proposition as a stepping stone.
