  1. Fair enough I can see why at a certain age travelling is unattractive.
  2. The Community club runs numerous kids teams etc, not connected to EFFC
  3. Clyde are playing us at a good time as we have hit a poor patch after going 9 games unbeaten. I would be worried if I was a Stranraer or Bonnyrigg fan. From a Fife point of view hopefully Dick can motivate the group but I suspect some players know they won't be around next season. I read that Fash is back in training would be great if he made the bench.
  4. My point wasn't intended to turn into a crowd w**k, I just find it hard to understand how Spartans can attract the calibre of players they do on the crowds they Have. Maybe you didn't know that East Fife Community Football Club is one of the biggest in Scotland.
  5. So previously mentioned we have Fash, Docherty, Healy & Hambrook. I can see Hambrook's conract being cancelled. I would offer deals to Fleming, Trouten, Walls. Trouten is on 11 league goals and is fit enough for another go at League 2. As for the rest while i like Murdoch, Millar, McManus and Scotty we need a fresh start, what we've had for the last 2 seasons isn't working. In my opinion Newton isn't good enough and Easton's lack of Pace is beginning to show.
  6. McNulty, Craigen, Booth, Watson are out of reach financially of other League 2 teams. Spartans have a lot of kids and great community club but lets not pretend they have a strong following. Last home league game 385.
  7. Why ? Another club splashing the cash with an unsustainable finance model, like we've not seen much of those lately.
  8. Dreadful defending, half hearted attempts to stop both crosses, i think we will see new full backs next season.
  9. Disappointing, looking forward to see how many of these Dick bins.
  10. Only 3 wins will give us a sniff of the play-offs and that depends on Spartans slipping up. That looks unlikely. A few changes today maybe enforced by injuries.
  11. 3 games in week (Buckie) would take its toll on any team, could be Brechins' best hope. Fingers crossed you can make it over the line.
  12. I wouldn't over-react due to 1 poor performance in 10. I'm sure the management know who they want to keep and today maybe helped in that choice.
  13. Fair play to Bonnyrigg, they mastered the conditions kept it simple and deserved the victory. Certainly our worst home performance of the season, can't really think of one player who gets credit. Defence was all over the shop, midfield second to everything, an afternoon to forget !
  14. Will we beat Bonnyrigg for The first time at home ? will Bonnyrigg fans greet about the admission price ? all will be revealed today at a breezy MGM Timber Bayview Stadium ! We need 3 points to keep the pressure on Spartans, anything less than that could spell the end of our play-off push. Great news that Jack has signed for next season.
