Louis? Yeah he's good. I remember him for a short role in Hostel. Creepy actor, but plays it well. Reminds me of Bugs Bunny when he smiles

On Dave. I saw the trailor a while back and thought it looked decent. I have watched the first 2 episodes and am totally hooked! It can take me a while to "get on" with characters, but I have liked everyone so far, in their respective roles. Anyone else into this then, or has it slid under the radar due to the channel it's on? (I was shocked DAVE got it tbh)
  3. I've got a mental craving for Batman Arkham Asylum, either on Xbox or PS3, don't have a wide selection to swap unfortunately, just Assasin's Creed 2 or Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, the others aren't really of the same quality as Batman, Cheers.
  4. Brannigan rarely played Weatherston, I don't think that has anything to do with hearsay just an obvious observation. I wasn't slating Brannigan anyway, it was more pointing out that he was respected for giving his all even when it was clear that he wasn't in the manager's plans
  5. He has incredible pace and that's easily his best trait. His control is poor, he doesn't have a football brain, he has no composure - I'd imagine if it was possible to got through his goals, most of them would have been quick shots where he didn't have time to think about what he was doing, can't header, generally blowing out his arse after a short period of time. He did give effort though and certaintly never went in a huff as previously stated, I think the poster got confused with McLaren there. He would be a good squad player as his pace is worth having him alone. He is easily more effective coming on after 70 minutes as his pace can destroy tiring defences. I don't know how big a squad Falkirk will have next season, but if it's going to be small then Weatherston isn't really a luxury that can be afforded. I won't be fearful of him next term, I can't recall him doing much damage against us when he was at Saints. A good kick from a centre-half early on will do the trick though as he is also a bit of a sh*tbag. Having slated him, fair play to the guy for sticking around for so long, he wasn't best treated by Brannigan for whatever reason and certainly gave his all when he got a chance, he gained a lot more supporters I felt as a result of that, but that shouldn't cloud people's vision on his poor footballing abilities.
  6. That can't be true, Chisholm and Brannigan are far too good not to be in a management job I would say the signing of Brighton is 'risky'. If he remains fit I think he will be a decent addition and will hopefully link up well with Smith. Should be better to judge after Saturday against a team at our level, I wouldn't read too much into his performance against Gretna. Hopfully the full pre-season will have done him good.
  7. I can't see McPherson playing a system with wingers tbh. If he had that planned I'd imagine Weatherston would have been signed as well.
  8. Another dull top IMO. If I buy any of them I'll go for the away one. On the shirt front (I'll try and word this as more of a query than a criticism) why is the kid's top so expensive? I think £34 is quite steep. Especially if you can get an Old Firm one cheaper. I mean, if a parent isn't interested in QoS and their bairn is after a football shirt the chances are they will just buy one of the B.B. tops before a QoS one, especially if they know it is cheaper. I imagine the makers have a big say but surely the club have some room for manoeuvre on pricing? Another 'query' on the shirt front. Can last season's not be reduced further than £20? I got the home and away Middlesbrough top (one long sleeved as well) for £20 altogether. I'd imagine the club has to get as much back as possible but surely making £10 on an old top is better than making nothing?
  9. Well you're 100% wrong As stated, it was definately David Craig. He made an absolutely superb save to his right hand side, any goalie would have been proud of it. The ball went out for a corner and St Mirren scored from it . Bit of a kick in the goolies for the big man.
  10. I post on there regularly but I can assure you I am far from a happy clapper, I'm just surprised one of our best keepers in the last ten years is getting such a slating. Good keeper, his main fault being he was sh*t scared to come off his line. If I had to have on 'keeper back it would easily be Ludo Roy, solid goalkeeper, pity he got injured.
  11. Odd that you believe Hutton to be a bombscare yet you would have Robinson back . I did like Robinson, but if I had to put keepers on a 'bombscare' list Robinson would be a lot higher than Hutts.
  12. Are you going to upload all the point winning saves?
  13. I can understand only being given one dot as I'm sure a few people would 'abuse' the use of them. I just find it bizarre that you have to restrain from being over positive. A few of the the QoS MAD regulars certainly won't like that I really don't think I am (surprisingly). I think that his speed gets him out of trouble a lot of the time eg. getting him in the right place at the right time - I think this is down him being quick rather than his ability to read the game. Personally, I would play him on the wing, if at all. He is at his best when he simply gets the ball and runs down the wing, no one can catch him and he has won us a fair share of free kicks/penalties as a result of this. I won't lose sleep if he does not re-sign though.
  14. Exactly. I've said all along, if you take away Weatherston's pace he is a mediocre player at best. O/T What's with the limit on your green ticks? I would have given you one there but apparently I had used enough today
  15. Yeah I would agree with what your are saying. Scott was far better and it was purely the name that got Goram starting. I always felt sorry for Scott being dropped for the Challenge Cup Final. I just recall him having a blinder against Saints and felt it only right to comment on it
  16. I can't remember many games in which he featured bar one. It was against St Johnstone at home, they had been relegated the season before. We drew 0-0 and I put it mainly down to an utstanding game by Goram. He had his cons but I think it's a tad unfair on him to say he was uninterested on the park.
  17. * MAD website. ** Yes, I have just decided to make something up to help my arguement along. That's what I do . I cannot remember what game it was but his kicking was absolutely shocking, he barely reached the half way line all game and the height was scarily low. I was in the East Stand at the time and he was getting a fair slating for it. *** Well the stats suggest he concedes more goals per game than the other two . Interesting that they had packed it in the last month but the final week when Hutton went back in goal they decided to start playing again
  18. Where have I made something up? Having looked at the statistics front it isn't the best reading for him either:- Hutton - Played 26.5*; Conceded 37; Clean Sheets 10; Goal Average 1.39. Robinson - Played 10; Conceded 14; Clean Sheets 1; Goal Average 1.4. McKenzie - Played 9.5*; Conceded 18; Clean Sheets 2; Goal Average 2. OK it could have been a lot worse, but it's quite poor in comparison with Robinson who had only 1 more game than him. He physically looks poor and on paper it isn't too great either (unless I've completely ballsd that up!) * .5 represents the games against County that were posponed.
  19. I don't condemn a player for a howler (like what a lot of QoS fans have done with Hutton unfortunately). I base it on his all round ability. His reaction is poor, his ability to get down quickly is poor, his agility if poor and his awareness is actually quite poor as well. As for his distribution, that is laughable. I remember one game last season, it was the worst kicking from a 'keeper I have ever seen - in any league. I'll say one positive thing for him, he communicates well with his defence, I stood behind him for a half once and he was constantly organising his back four. I'm basing this on the home games I saw him in as I did not get to an away game when he played. Like I said, if he is our no. 1 next season we wil concede a barrel load at his expense. Bookmark if need be
  20. I really fear for us if he is our no. 1 next season. An absolutely honking 'keeper. He did nothing of positive note for me last term, he is about as agile as a boulder and the time it takes him to get down to the ball is shocking for a 1st Division 'keeper. I pray that Hutton signs! This is my main fear since Gus has signed. Mind you, if his rumoured wage was as high as said, then thankfully we can't afford him I'd imagine this will be to replace Harris.
  21. Should you not rate it 5/10 in that case?
  22. I would agree with him (if ofcourse he did say that). Take away his pace he is a moderate at best. Poor finishing, poor control and his awareness isn't the greatest either, Has he not signed for Dunfermline? I did worry about Kean coming back when McPherson was appointed, wasn't he in St Mirren's championship winning team?
  23. I had a major debate with a mate in the pub one night about this. He was raving about Di Caprio and how good he is. I just don't get it. He sounds the same in everything he is in. He can play roles well, but I can watch him in one film and think, he was pretty similar in another. Di Caprio is rarely in a bad film, hence the reason he is so highly rated, in my opinion. I think the films make him, not the other way around. Johnny Depp can be in some utter dross films yet will still get right into the character. For me he is far better than Di Caprio. I will say one other thing for Di Caprio, he was utter astounding in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and imo that was easily his finest hour. Did you feel weird at the end of it? My mate said that she was told before hand that afterwards she would feel a weird feeling after watching it, she didn't believe it but after viewing said that she did have a weird feeling. I have no idea what she was going on about, can you put a rationale explanation to her rant? I Love You, Man Bro-mance with Paul Rudd and Jason Segel. I actually really enjoyed this. Rudd plays his role well and you are literally cringing with him early on in the film. Segel makes the film for me and is absolutely hilarious. I would love a mate like him! They both work well at portraying an awkward start to their friendship and bounce quite nicely off one another in the end. A few Rush songs are thrown in which add positively to the soundtrack. I wasn't expecting much but would recommend it. Good watch. 7.5/10 I have recently got rid of Sports 1 as there is no football and replaced it with a film package, mainly comedy and horror, so I have a sh$tload of films on record to get through
  24. Also the man who has contributed to our current poor financial state with overpaid underachievers, other fans seems to forget that I don't know why, but I would be happy wth Connolly, maybe because he was a prior success or maybe because it would make a change from the assistant stepping in as per usual. I don't want Chis as we have no more money for him to waste. I'd love Hughes as his teams tend to play football on the deck. I still cannot see past Scally and or Thomson though
