  1. She wasn't waiting to cross. I moved my car out the space and as I was moving so slowly she decided to walk onto the road in front of the car. Waiting to cross and walking onto a road when cars are already moving towards you are two different things.
  2. Folk (pundits in particular and as a result more "folk" pedal this pish) who think contact in the box in a contact sport like Football means penalty if a player goes down. Watching the Leeds game and the fanny co-commentating (usually talks shite tbf, Alan Smith I think?) claims the Leeds penalty is a stonewaller because the defender made contact with his hip on the other player. Make the sport non-contact and be done with it ffs.
  3. If a pedestrian has stepped onto the road before the car has (eg. before the car turns into the street) they've always (pedestrian) had right of way. If that's what happened I wouldn't have complained. But I pulled out my space slowly, she then stepped onto the road in front of my car meaning I had to brake, and the cow gave me a look like I was the fuckwit. She was at that slightly pre-OAP age which as we all know are the most entitled c***s in our society, so I wasn't really shocked tbh.
  4. Made a similar post a few weeks back. Retail parks are the worst. Folk seem to forget that roads are predominantly for cars. Had one on Friday - was slowly pulling out of my space, as well as indicating, and then this arsehole woman steps right out in front of me (coming from in front of me I should add, so if they slow moving vehicle wasn't a big enough to clue to wait then the indicator was probably a good indication of where I was going) meaning I had to stop. She then looks at me and starts shaking her head as if I was in the wrong. Bear in mind I was moving before she stepped onto the road so she didn't even have right of way. I don't usually get riled but I was fucking furious with her insinuating I was in the wrong. Window rolled down and a "It's a fucking road, hen!!" flung her way relieved some of the rage.
  5. Seeing and hearing the guy in the video above, I'm not convinced it isn't John Hughes with a bit of plastic surgery.
  6. On Saturday it looked exactly as @Todd_is_God has described tbh. That wasn't a side looking to stop a side winning the title. Even when Rankin made subs it made no difference. If we survive I expect we'll be getting beat 3/4 times by Hamilton again next season.
  7. I'm really not a fan of Logan at all. He's one that I hope goes at the end of the season but I think he was given a hard time on Saturday for things that weren't entirely his fault. More than once he was marking someone then had to go out wide to pick up his man but by doing so he left his previously marked man unmarked and not a defender or a midfielder covered for him. If they're not bothering to cover then at least go and close down the guy with the ball. What ended up happening was Logan looking like he was out of position and not doing his job as well as losing a man. Felt quite sorry for him in the first half tbh. I don't think he's particularly good but when he has no support it makes him look worse than he is. Offensively he did a bit better in the second half. RE. The disallowed goal, I watched Rankin's interview and he actually said the linesman got it spot on. So it was indeed a good catch from him. He (Rankin) was furious with the other linesman though and said Henderson was a good yard onside when he was through in the second half. I did think it was strange Brydon got the nod ahead of Ambrose. But I have to admit I felt happier Brydon was coming on. I said at HT that a QoS mistake would likely be what cost us a goal and Ambrose would have been the prime candidate to do it for me. But aye, with one day's training it's a risky decision. Thankfully Brydon was ok.
  8. Did that with the Queen's death. Wouldn't have stood up for a minutes silence for her so decided to enter once it was done on the off chance someone had a go at me for staying seated. Not worththe agro.
  9. Aye, I've said on another post that I wouldn't rule any player out based on this season as Bartley's system clearly doesn't suit the majority of the players. On Saturday though it was a lot of slack passes from Kilsby that was annoying me in the first half. That's on him alone.
  10. @JD and associates another bloody Anti-Livi thread.
  11. Something I miss doing from my last job (train guard). I wasn't a jobsworth at all but folk putting their shit on a seat when the train was packed used to really f**k me off. I used to go up to folk who were standing and ask if they wanted a seat (surprisingly a lot of folk said they were happy to stand so I always asked), if they said aye I'd then walk through the aisle and spot one of the arseholes you described. I'd turn around to the person standing, point to the seat with a bag on it and shout down "There's a seat free here pal". By the time they got to the seat the arsehole would have moved their stuff. I never asked anyone to move their stuff though as I always felt better shaming them into doing it. Maybe dickish on my part perhaps.
  12. Definitely not in the minority on here. It's been discussed before. My last rant about her I said that comedy is all about timing and unfortunately, outwith her control, she's unable to have good timing. That aside, even with good timing her content is unfunny pish. I know she'll be loving the airtime but I actually find it very uncomfortable when she appears on panel shows as the laughs always sound so patronising.
  13. Another shite classic in the worlds best league. Overhyped shite.
  14. "Difficult" is putting it kindly. Even if we finish 6th this has been an absolute disgrace of a season tbh. Absolutely agree re. the last two games. The second half yesterday being the best I've seen us play in years tbh. But if there's one thing Bartley has instilled it's a consistent inconsistency. If we win on Saturday I'll be a bit more optimistic but there's no sane QoS fan who isn't expecting us to revert to type.
  15. Certainly not a must win- "must win" is overused in football all the time. A must win to me means that there's no chance of promotion/you're officially doomed if you lose. It is a massive game though. If Kelty win I can't see us catching them regardless of their tougher fixtures. If we win it'll be three weeks on the trot we've taken points off a side we usually do pretty poorly against, we'll go above them and could potentially be 6 points off 9th. If it works out like that I'd feel a lot more confident of avoiding 9th. I'm hoping Brydon is fit to start. McClelland was fine yesterday and I'd play him ahead of Kilsby but Brydon is a big upgrade on him (McClelland). Get Doherty dropped right away for, I assume, Mumbongo and we'll have a (better) presence up front. Play like we did in the second half and we won't lose but we're nothing if inconsistent so I'm going expecting a slog. Hopefully they surprise us again.
  16. You're kidding, right? We're a FT club with likely a top half/top 4 budget, a huge playing squad, a realistic/fair expectation pre-season to at least gain a promotion playoff spot and yet here we are in a relegation scrap. Tell me why we shouldn't be anything other than negative
  17. Cheers. Dont have FB but I'll get the Mrs to show me
  18. Do you guys have post match interviews or is it behind a pay wall?
  19. I think Annan's is easier than Kelty's. You'd surely rather play the top 2 sides at home rather than away. And I expect Annan will fancy their chances against anyone at home. They've also yet to be beaten by Stirling so I doubt they'll find a trip there daunting; obviously it it's a must win for them at that stage it'll change things.
  20. Didn't realise Caley were in such a bad way tbh.
  21. Would fancy ICT tbh. Hamilton didn't look like a side who are going to do well in the play-offs, Cove have been inconsistent, Alloa seem to be hitting a terrible spell at a bad time and Montrose are falling off a cliff. At this point I'd expect 9th to come through the playoffs. And obviously hope so as well. As bad as our record against them is, I'd rather have Hamilton and Rankin than ICT or Qu££ns Park.
  22. What was your view of Williamson's kick out in the first half? I didn't think Barjonas should have been sent off either, I thought it screamed of the ref making up for him making an arse of it in the first half. I just wonder if it looked as clear a kick from the home end?
  23. Ooft! Did think it was a bit hard from Tumilty at the time, that probably explains why! Aye, as much as we're in no position to be criticising other teams I was thinking today that unless Hamilton have taken their foot off the pedal to save themselves for the playoffs then I fully expect them to be in League 1 next season (along with us, hopefully!).
